| Czech Republic: CCP Trade in Organs Harvested from Falun Gong Practitioners Publicised in Central Prague [16.07.2006] |
To mark International Day against Torture, Falun Gong practitioners held an activity in the centre of the Czech capital, Prague. Passers-by were reminded that the torture of innocent people is still taking place in many parts of today’s world. One facet of the activities was a demonstration of some of the the torture methods used in China on prisoners of conscience.

From July 6th, 2006, Falun Gong practitioners at the University of Augsburg in Southern Germany organised a two-week long activity, appealing for the urgent rescue of Falun Gong practitioner Wang Xiaoyan in China and for the immediate end to the Chinese Communist regime's evil trade in organs harvested from living people.

| Czech Translation of Zhuan Falun Officially Published [17.07.2006] |
On June 15th 2006, the Czech version of Zhuan Falun was officially published, and is now available in bookstores across the Czech Republic. Zhuan Falun is the primary text among the thirty plus books published by Mr. Li Hongzhi. The publication of Zhuan Falun was preceded by a second translation of the introductory book Falun Gong.

| United Kingdom: Press Conference and Parade Mark Seven Years of Persecution [17.07.2006] |
On Saturday 15th July, UK Falun Gong practitioners held a press conference and parade in central London to let people know that Falun Gong has been persecuted by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) for seven years. After the press conference, the practitioners paraded through central London. The beautiful sunshine meant that the streets were crowded.

On July 9th, Falun Gong practitioners publicised the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)'s trade in organs harvested from living Falun Gong practitioners. Many local people and tourists told us they felt that in the 21st century, murdering people in order to trade in their harvested organs is a shame for humanity.

Falun Gong practitioners in the Czech Republic held an activity in Prague to let people know about the persecution against Falun Gong in China. During February and March of 2002, “European Chinese Newspaper” carried many articles slandering Falun Gong practitioners and spread hatred among the Chinese Community. These articles played a part in assisting the carrying out of the persecution of Falun Gong initiated by Jiang Zemin, the former leader of China. The shocking news that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has removed organs from living Falun Gong practitioners and subsequently sold them, which has been recently exposed, shows that the persecution is so severe that it has far exceeded people’s imagination. |

| Germany: People Sign a Petition Calling on the Government to Help Stop the Persecution [14.07.2006] |
“This kind of act is really ignominious. It totally violates belief in God”, said a mother with a child after seeing practitioners re-enact the CCP's removal of organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. She signed the petition calling for an end to this atrocity. Many local people were shocked and couldn’t believe that the CCP would be so cruel to its own people.

| Russia: Falun Gong Practitioners from Pyatigorsk Expose the Persecution of Falun Gong [14.07.2006] |
June 26th, 2006, was “United Nations International Day In Support Of Victims of Torture”. Falun Gong practitioners assembled on the plaza in front of city hall in Pyatigorsk to expose the persecution of Falun Gong by the CCP. Practitioners displayed information and photo boards and re-enacted the torture that the CCP inflicts on Falun Gong practitioners.

In the picturesque enviroment of a stone quarry near Hořice, a Reggae festival took place between the 23rd and 24th of June 2006. On the 24th, Falun Gong practitioners arrived to let festival goers know about the torture and illegal organ harvesting taking placd in China's labour camps.

On July 6th, 2006, the Milan Criminal Court pronounced judgment on the Chinese newspaper, “European Chinese Paper”, which had slandered Falun Gong and the charge was established. After practitioners won the case, their lawyer Giuseppe Rossodivita made a declaration about the charge, talked about the case and the impression he has of Falun Gong

On June 30th, 2006, Russian Falun Gong practitioners held activities outside the Chinese Consulate in St. Petersburg to protest against the Chinese Communist Party's brutal persecution of Falun Gong. For several years, Falun Gong practitioners’ applications to protest at the Chinese Consulate in St. Petersburg have not been ratified by the Russian government.

| Germany: German People Want an Urgent Investigation into Organ Harvesting by the Chinese Communist Party [12.07.2006] |
In order for the German people to have a deeper understanding of the cruel persecution of Falun Gong by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), in particular organ harvesting from Falun Gong practitioners, and urge the German government to make efforts in helping the investigation of the persecution, Falun Gong practitioners in Germany launched an activity to "collect a suggestion to the German Chancellor." The practitioners also mailed the suggestions collected to politicians and media in Germany. |

| Russia: Police Illegally Detain Falun Gong Practitioners [11.07.2006] |
On June 30th, 2006, at 4 o’clock in the afternoon, Moscow Falun Gong practitioners held a peaceful protest at the Chinese Embassy against the CCP's trade in organs harvested from living Falun Gong practitioners. When the first group of practitioners arrived, the police were already standing there waiting for them. Local government did not agree with this protest.

Several local people who had seen similar activities before came to talk with practitioners.

On Sunday June 24th, in a small scenic town called Policka, a festival of ethnic music and “Colour Meeting” took place. Its main goal was to foster mutual understanding and tolerance between people of different ethnic groups and cultures. Falun Gong practitioners took part in the event. They performed a demonstration of the Falun Gong exercises and distributed leaflets.

A forum to "Examine environmental pollution and the human rights situation in China” was held at the 7th meeting hall on June 27th, 2006. The organ harvesting from live Falun Gong practitioners taking place in China’s labour camps became a focus of the meeting.

| Switzerland: “May Goodness Win!” – Second Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance Art Exhibition Shown in Basel [10.07.2006] |
An exhibition by a group of artists who practice Falun Gong was held at Kannenfeldpark, a recreational park outside the city of Basel. Thirty-three seperate artworks were on display between May 20th and the 28th 2006. Many practitioners from German-speaking Switzerland and Southern Germany were of great help and the exhibition was a resounding success.

During the first conference of the UN Human Rights Council, a human rights seminar was held at the auditorium of the UN Office in Geneva on June 29th, organised by international non-government organisations and focusing on the illegal organ trade in China.

| Finland: International Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance Art Exhibition Held in Helsinki [09.07.2006] |
The second Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance International Art Exhibition was held in Galleria Oma Huone on Kalevankatu Street in the centre of Helsinki, capital of Finland. Near the gallery, practitioners distributed leaflets about the exhibition. In the gallery, practitioners guided people around conscientiously and patiently, explaining the background to the paintings.

While strolling along the pedestrian zones, festival goers had the opportunity to pass by a Falun Gong information booth, erected by the town’s practitioners. They could find out about the human rights situation in China. Many had the chance to talk with local practitioners about the suppression of the meditation practice and could form their own opinion.

| Switzerland: Press Conference in Geneva to Condemn the Atrocities Committed by the CCP [09.07.2006] |
Vice President of the European Parliament, Mr. Edward McMillan-Scott, sent the conference a report about his investigation of the persecution of Falun Gong in Beijing. The host of the conference, the secretary of International Multiple Belief Organisation, Dr. Charles, said that what they need to do during this conference was to discuss the CCP's trade in organs harvested from Falun Gong practitioners, as well as whether the CCP has been lying about this issue and trying to cover up the truth. |

On June 26th, 2006, another group of practitioners went to a city in the Far Eastern area to introduce Falun Gong to local people and expose the persecution in China. Practitioners went to a building site where Chinese men were working to talk to them. The Chinese workers were very glad to meet practitioners and many of them accepted leaflets.

On Friday June 16th, Falun Gong practitioners went to the city of Usti nad Orlici, where a cultural activity called “City in Motion, Week of Good Vibrations” was being held. Falun Gong practitioners chose one of the streets leading to the main square to inform people about the persecution of Falun Gong which is still continuing in China after seven years. Many people were concerned about it and asked whether they could do more than sign the petition and how they could help. Some of them took leaflets for their friends. |

| Austria: International Truthfulness -- Compassion – Tolerance Art Exhibition Shown for the Seventh Time [07.07.2006] |
On June 16th, the art and cultural association ARS CARA held the International Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance art exhibition for the seventh time in Austria at the Kuenburg Kunststätte art location in Payerbach. The opening ceremony was held in a grand and solemn manner, and several guests gave speeches at the opening ceremony.

On June 26th, practitioners in Krasnoyarsk held an event in Chinatown to expose the brutal seven year persecution of Falun Gong and tell the public about the spread of Falun Dafa to more than eighty countries. At the site, as well as distributing leaflets and other material, practitioners displayed photos and talked with passersby about the persecution.

On Saturday, June 17th, 2006, Falun Gong practitioners exposed the crimes committed by the Chinese Communist Party to passersby in Saarbrücken. Shoppers in the busy shopping centre learned about the CCP's illegal trade in organs harvested from live Falun Gong practitioners taking place in China’s secret concentration camps.

On June 26th, 2006, Turkish Falun Gong practitioners protested outside the Chinese Embassy. In front of the Embassy’s main entrance, Falun Gong practitioners displayed a banner printed with the words ‘Falun Dafa is good’ and sat in meditation, in protest against the Chinese Communist Party's persecution of Falun Gong practitioners.

On June 25th, 2006, practitioners from Germany, Slovakia and the Czech Republic, as well as Hungarian practitioners introduced Falun Dafa and exposed the persecution in the centre of Budapest. Practitioners displayed pictures showing how Falun Gong practitioners are being persecuted by the CCP in China.

On June 24th and 25th, 2006, both new and veteran practitioners from Turkey took part in activities in Ankara Park together. Practitioners worked as one body, making their best efforts. Some were responsible for location arrangements, others demonstrated the exercises and some volunteered to teach people the exercises.

On Friday June 2nd, 2006, Falun Gong practitioners from Belgium were invited to KTA Senior High School of Technology to introduce Falun Dafa to students in grades three and five as part of a project the children are doing on different cultures. Afterwards, the teachers said that the activity was very successful and that the students all paid much attention to it.

Falun Gong practitioners met in Jihlava to inform the public about the inhumane persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China. They informed the passers-by with leaflets and banners about Falun Gong and its main principles of Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance and also about the secret concentration camps where organs are being harvested from live practitioners.

On the 24th and 25th of June in Budapest, Falun Gong practitioners held an activity to expose the CCP's (Chinese Communist Party) practice of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. The CCP then sell the organs and cremate the practitioners' bodies. The re-enactment got an enthusiastic response and man people stopped to take a leaflet and find out more.

A week after the practitioners arrived, a few people in charge of the station came out to ask practitioners to take the sign away. Apparently the Chinese side applied pressure ... Practitioners went along with station managers to the police station. After reading the materials, the police said, “What’s the problem with that? Wasn’t this copied from newspapers? After all, Russia is a democratic country.”

| Denmark: Teachers Invite Falun Gong Practitioners to Teach Exercises to Pupils [29.06.2006] |
In the second half of June 2006, a piece of serene exercise music could be heard playing in the gymnasium of Bjerregrev School in the Danish town of Viborg. Teachers and parents watched in amazement as the usually noisy children sat quietly and practised the fifth Falun Gong exercise, a sitting meditation.

Some German people left, yet they came back again to write messages, after they had thought about the organ harvesting situation. An elderly German gentleman came back and left such words to the German Chancellor: "If what the leaflet says is true, I can't imagine people can live safely there. If you do not mention this while visiting China, I really feel ashamed for our leader." A professor came back after to ask for more leaflets for other associates after understanding the situation of the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners by the CCP. A female doctor wrote after seeing the exhibition board: "Investigate independently, rescue the victims through the Red Cross immediately." |

On June 17th 2006, in Zurich’s town centre Parade Square, Falun Gong practitioners held an information day. Demonstrations of he five sets of gentle and peaceful exercises attracted many people to stop and look. Along with the exercise demonstration, persecution pictures were displayed and a striking banner read: “CCP harvests living Falun Gong Practitioners’ Organs”.

Falun Gong practitioners in Hamburg held a “Journey of Falun Dafa” Photo Exhibition in the city’s festival. They explained to people what Falun Gong is and told them about the persecution. People were concerned when they heard how the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has waged a campaign of unprecedented brutality resulting in the deaths of nearly 3,000 innocent practitioners.
