I really feel ashamed, being saved by Master, and I really fall short of the expectations of the sentient beings." She said in her mind to Master, "Master, I have to get rid of these dirty things. I don't want these dirty things to pollute the new universe and affect the purity and beauty of the new universe or other practitioners

Once, deep in the night, a young man covered me with a quilt. I woke up and looked at him. He said, "I just had a dream where Teacher Li asked me to cover you with the quilt. Teacher Li said, 'Dafa disciple is cold. Please cover him with the quilt.'" Tears coursed down my cheeks.

Because it was my own experience and I did it for the benefit of others, my emails really touched my colleagues. They came to my office one after anther to shake hands with me and hugged me. Many of them expressed their thanks with tears in their eyes. My manager had to stand at the door to keep order.

In her view, we don't need to think about who or what is right or wrong. Since the government prohibited it, we must stay in line with the government thinking. Protecting ourselves is most important. It doesn't allow us to practice, so we stop practicing. It is such simple logic, but I did not do what she hoped I would.

He said, "There are some Falun Gong books (they're deluxe, hardback editions) and some exercise tapes--all ransacked ones taken the other day. I had an opportunity to save some sets. Here is a whole set for you to look at. They were going to be burned. Wouldn't you say that it would have been a pity to destroy all these good books? The CCP party members sure are so lawless, defying both the human and divine!"

I then suddenly realized that it was a flaw in my character that had caused the problem. How could I forget that I was a practitioner? I kept complaining about the weather, thinking that was what had caused my trouble. Why hadn't I thought of our Teacher? I said to my sister, "We are Dafa practitioners, and we should recite 'Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.'

Emperor Qianlong suddenly asked the monk, "How many boats are there on the river?" The monk thought about it for a moment, and replied, "Only two boats." "Why two boats?" Qianlong asked. The eminent monk responded, "One is called fame. The other one is called personal gain."

When I got home, I was stunned--my husband was with another woman.My husband and the other woman were very nervous and scared. I said, "Don't be afraid. I'm different from others. I practice Falun Gong." My generosity and compassion deeply moved the woman. I told her that a woman should be responsible for herself, and for her family and children.

I recently encountered a situation that made me see more clearly my attachment of jealousy. I have a colleague who is young and talented. He has good social skills and enjoys a good relationship with the boss, but he has little to say to me. His performance last year was excellent, and this year he is advancing ahead of me.

On November 19, 2004, my youngest sister took me home. Everyone was surprised and delighted to see the changes in me. I told my youngest sister and my granddaughter about Falun Gong, and they both supported me after reading the truth-clarifying pamphlet I had brought.

"I don't think you sincerely believe in Buddhas. Communists are atheists that persecute people who believe in Buddhas. For that reason, communists and believers of Buddhas are in direct opposition. That's what I meant when I said that you are not a genuine believer of Buddhas or Gods."

Another good thing is that I require myself to follow the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance in my daily life. I also taught my children to follow this principle. My grandson was very naughty, and nobody could handle him well before. I taught him to study Dafa. His behaviour became much better. Now he is clean, polite, and cares about others.

According to the principles of higher realms, human principles are not in line with the characteristic of the universe. When a cultivator, at a critical moment, lets his human thoughts control him and thus betrays his fellow practitioners, what he has done is not just an issue of right or wrong; it means that he has committed a very bad deed.

The practitioner that travelled with me tried a few things, but nothing worked. I felt terribly disappointed and guilty at the same time. I had been producing truth-clarification materials for four years by then, but I always depended on her whenever my printer was out of order.

One thing horrified me. One time we had a so-called "reform" meeting. One practitioner shouted, "My Master is innocent! Falun Dafa is righteous!" Two guards took her out before she could finish, and one poured a kettle of boiling water down her neck.

I came to understand that a poor environment is caused by our human attachments. In other words, the environment is bad because we make it that way. Most of the time we just think about our own hardships. Measured by the Fa, I feel that I cannot look inside unconditionally.

I found that although on the surface, I was studying the Fa, I was actually thinking about myself and did not consider my family's feelings. And also, I found attachments of concern and fear. I realized that I had found those attachments and that I would get rid of them. After having this thought, I felt relieved in my heart.

After we greeted each other, she said, "Are you still practicing Falun Gong?" I asked, "How can you tell?" She replied, "You haven't changed in over ten years. But, look at me, I am so old now." She is only a few years older than I am, but her face was full of wrinkles. I said, "If you don't want to look old, just practice Falun Gong. Go home and keep practicing."

What the TV, radio, and newspaper talk about is all from the same sourcethe CCP government. Ordinary people cannot hear other points of view from a second source. They agreed. I suggested they should quit the CCP organizations. They were very happy to do that. I was very happy that two more lives were saved.

After I told him the truth about the Tiananmen Self-Immolation, he started to swear at the party. He pressed his palms in front of his chest, closed his eyes, and said, "I would like to quit the CCP and all the evil organizations associated with it. I would like to protect my life. Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!"

I suddenly woke up at 4:00 am that morning with the urge to pass urine. I sat on the toilet bowl and passed out a lot of dried blood. I was not dizzy and my vision was clear, I knew that it was Master helping me to eliminate karma.

My wife was the first person to practice Falun Gong in our village. Her recovery story encouraged many people, and many of them started to practice Falun Gong. We set up a practice site at my home.

It seems logical that the more sentient beings you save, the better you are doing; the more people you save, the greater you are; wanting to do more clarifying the truth and wanting to save more people requires a compassionate state of mind. How could it be called "the desire for doing things?"

Sharing my realization about the article with Practitioner A had him tearfully comment, "Master has endured too much for us." Hearing this made a thought cross my mind, "Master should not endure the suffering of the brutal torture. The evildoers should take the suffering that they imposed upon me."

I was very diligent at the beginning of my cultivation. I studied Teacher's Fa carefully and practiced the exercises every day. Through Fa study, I came to understand many principles that I couldn't understand before. I felt my spirit uplifting through cultivation. I changed from a selfish and unreasonable person, to a kind and considerate one.

Here is my personal understandings on the correct posture in studying the Fa. Keep the upper body straight, sitting in the double lotus position or the single lotus position. Hold the book with both hands with an attitude of reverence and sincerity. Take turns reading the paragraphs with clear pronunciation and with the proper speed, so that everyone can follow along in their minds.

During this trip to Taiwan, I saw that the Taiwanese practitioners conducted themselves well with righteous thoughts and were doing the three things well according to Teacher's requests. In order to save their mainland compatriots, they work hard and sacrifice their own comfort.

Not understanding cooperation, coordination or duty, it is very difficult for people to live together harmoniously, not to mention collaborating or working together on projects. As Dafa practitioners, we should not be like that.

We cannot relax. We should remember every moment that we are here to help Teacher with the Fa-rectification. Our mission is to save sentient beings. We should not feel depressed or helpless, and we cannot continue to waste valuable time.

One time, my boss at work became extremely angry with me. She said that several people told her that I was advising them to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). The company has a policy that Falun Gong practitioners have to be reported to higher authorities and practicing Falun Gong is regarded as the most serious political issue.

I went with her and asked her why she said those things. In the end, she said, "It is 'wise' to say Falun Dafa is good in your heart, but not in public." My heart ached with sadness. How could she be like this?

Those who joined the CCP and/or its youth organizations will go down with the CCP, and only those who withdrew from it and its subordinate organizations will be safe. Grandpa, do you want to withdraw?' He gave a clear and firm reply, 'Yes, I quit.'

"You see, human life is just so pitiful. Birth, aging, sickness, and death--the reincarnation process--is just so painful. No matter how much money he has now, he can't feel happy at all. Am I right? "

It is true that Menchius said, "Eating and lust, those are from one's innate nature." But when looking at it a little more deeply, this "innate nature" actually is not the true "nature" of a human being's original, true self. Instead, it is a characteristic that has been infused into one's flesh body in order for a human being to stay in a human state. It is also a human attachment that we must remove in our cultivation.

In the past, I believed that jealousy always meant being envious of others who were better, more capable, or had more strong points. I now have new understanding about jealousy. Some kinds of jealousy are subtle, and have formed naturally, so they are difficult see, and you may not be able to recognize some jealousies

It was not clear to me that I should not insist on my reasoning but to take a step back in a conflict so I could find that the seas and the skies are boundless.

After finishing the exercises, I felt much more at ease. That day, I distributed truth clarification materials. I had indescribable happiness when I returned home because I could again save sentient beings like in the past. After three consecutive days, my body completely recovered after interference for more than a year.

I suddenly realized that Master was using a practitioner's mouth to give me a hint, as I had not enlightened to it before. My younger daughter was almost nine years old. I only cared about studying the Fa and practicing the exercises myself and never thought that she should also study Dafa.

Every day there are local practitioners, out-of-town practitioners and homeless practitioners in my place. One practitioner said, "Your home is a sharing place for practitioners. They can come whenever they want to. It is a refuge." I said that it is not a refuge, but an environment provided by Teacher.

Sometimes it was difficult to put aside this "always me first" attitude. However, I have finally realized that I need to study the Fa more, strengthen my righteous thoughts and steadfastly look inward for my shortcomings. I want to change my way of thinking, eliminate my show-off mentality and remove this bad substance completely.

I just mainly wanted to tell fellow practitioners who restarted cultivation that if we pay close attention to cultivation and do well in the three things, our gong will transcend the Three Realms and it will increase more and more quickly.

After I obtained the Fa, I completely recovered from my illnesses. My friends and relatives all said that I had completely changed, as if I were a new person. My family members were grateful to Dafa and Master for his mercy in saving me.

When we truly find our own problems, we absolutely will not have complaints against other people. On the contrary, what we will have is the determination to eliminate the human mentality of selfishness that we were not able to get rid of and compassion toward fellow practitioners.

Teacher has told us time after time that practitioners should look within when problems arise. I feel that if a practitioner doesn't know how to look within, this means that he doesn't know how to cultivate.

The police there also found no way to deal with me, so they sent me to the detention centre. I was subjected to a violent beating as soon as I entered a cell in the detention centre. I was beaten so severely that I became dizzy and fell to the ground. This was the so-called "presenting a welcome gift upon entry."

In March 2007, evildoers broke into where our study group was assembled and arrested us. Four of five practitioners were held at a detention centre, and two were later sentenced to forced labour. Another practitioner and I showed symptoms of high blood pressure and the detention centre officials refused to keep us.

In the summer of 2002, when nine practitioners went to the countryside to distribute the truth-clarification materials, they were reported and then arrested. Mr. Liu Zhibing was sentenced, but he refused to yield to the evildoers. He died as a result of a severe beating.

I remember one time when my mum and I were sorting materials for the various groups. Our beds and the floors were all covered with the materials. All of a sudden, red rays radiated from the material. It lasted for an hour, until we were done with the task. Both my mum and I felt very warm and good.

Not only because of the stretching of my arms and legs, but also all my attachments, my every word and action, and my every thought are not in line with the Fa. I just studied Master's Fa, but I didn't follow it. Isn't it equal to not learning anything from Master?
