It was because I was careless and my actions were thoughtless that I did not respect the boundaries between my male colleagues and myself when talking and joking with them. I was flattering myself and thinking that I did not have an attachment to lust. I did not pay attention to the fact that we should distinguish between males and females.

Another time, while I was handing out informational material at an outdoor food market, an owner from one of the food stands noticed that he did not get one. He shouted, " Hey! Hurry, give me a copy too. I really enjoy reading Falun Dafa's information!" A young fellow heard that and asked me, "What are you handing out? Could I get one?"

At the hearing, the judge had many letters in his hand and received many emails from practitioners around the world, including France, the U.S., and Taiwan. I was very moved, though I did not know any of those practitioners. We did what we needed to do.

Those practitioners validated the Fa by themselves instead of depending on attorneys or other ordinary people. The practitioners outside used the rescue process as an opportunity to improve from the Fa while saving ordinary people. Meanwhile, the practitioners who were being persecuted improved themselves as well.

If our righteous thoughts don't achieve the expected result in regards to the persecution, we should look inward based on what Teacher said: are our righteous thoughts strong? do we have any fear or attachment? do we have apprehension or hatred? Then we should adjust our xinxing (character) if we are falling short.

Only when our minds are pure enough, and we have met the standards of the Fa at higher levels, will the deeper meanings of the Fa be revealed. Therefore, we will not obtain the Fa at high levels if our minds are not pure, regardless if we have memorized all the words.

During the process of clarifying the truth, we should pay attention to cultivating ourselves. We will then be able to eliminate many attachments, fear, show-off mentality, oversensitivity, suspiciousness, lust, etc. When we do well in cultivation, it becomes easier to do truth clarification. We may see twice the results with half the effort.

The judges believed that what the Nazis practiced was not the law, and that they committed a crime. When the trials opened again, the judges used this reasoning to defeat the Nazis' defense, completing the Nuremberg trials. Some of the perpetrators were hung, and others were sentenced to long prison terms.

Cultivating ourselves well in everyday life is in fact another direct way to validate the Fa. If a practitioner is known as a good parent, respects the elderly, takes care of the children, establishes a harmonious relationship with family members and neighbours, takes his responsibilities at work and in society seriously, is considerate of others and displays high morality and xinxing (character) level, then everyone who gets to know him will say that this practitioner is a good person and a role model for others.

I had severe flu-like symptoms and ached all over. But I had very strong righteous thoughts and knew that Teacher was purifying my body. Therefore I insisted on practicing the exercises and studying the Fa. Three days later, all of my symptoms disappeared. I felt very light. Since then, I have firmly believed in Dafa and Teacher.

Why are there so many fellow practitioners overcome with tests that are related to their families, sickness and financial problems for a long time? I feel it's because they have failed to study the Fa well. Perhaps they should persevere in memorizing the Fa. Don't pursue speed. Memorize the Fa slowly until you can visualize every word in front of you.

I recalled that I looked at many things through my acquired notions. In the future, I should look at them using the criteria of cultivation and measure them from the standpoint of the Fa. Does my true self think in this way? If not, what kind of thought makes me think in this way? It must be an acquired notion. I just say to myself that it is not me and I do not want that thought.

I read Zhuan Falun again. I read the book three times in two days. I was completely basked in the bliss brought by Falun Gong. My brother-in-law also played for me Falun Dafa--Teaching the Fa to Australian Falun Dafa Practitioners. I hardly blinked when I watched the video.

It was only within the last few days that I began to realize that constantly being critical of others indicated a strong attachment to competition as well as to showing off. Didn't I always behave that way?

Sometimes when I just raised my palm to send forth righteous thoughts, she would shout at me, "Go, mop the floor!" I would then say, "Sure!" After I mopped the floor, she said it was not clean enough. I would then mop the floor again. Sometimes she bought some very expensive clothes home and asked me, "Are you mad at me for spending too much money?" I replied, "No. As long as you are happy, I will be happy."

Compared with fellow practitioners, I am not doing as well. Thus, every time I think about writing a sharing paper, I just do not have the motivation. The thought of shamefulness is always there to prevent me from picking up the pen.

She is a straightforward person and never talks about other people behind their backs. When she notices a problem in me, she is honest and tells me as it is. Her motivation is very pure: it's only to help others to improve. After spending time with her, my cultivation level improved noticeably.

I remember Teacher said that he doesn't want any repayment from practitioners--doesn't want kowtowing or worshiping. Teacher only wants the practitioner to have a genuine heart. I also very, very deeply understand the implications of Teacher's words about infinite mercy. Nevertheless, I have continuously put fresh flowers in front of Teacher's picture for many years.

The extent of diminishing our selfishness directly determines our mind capacity. If we could truly get rid of our selfishness, validate Dafa and save sentient beings selflessly, then our mind capacity and our gong would be dissolved into the whole universe. At that time we will be omnipotent and unshakable.

We had a relatively comfortable environment and lost our focus in studying the Fa well. As a result, we had many attachments, which led to the arrests.
Master was telling us that although, "The evil is finished and the environment has changed", we still need to study the Fa well, improve our xinxing (character) and save sentient beings.

I thought since Master has given me life, I should ask him to help take care of it. Once again my husband wanted to lay his hands on me in violence. When my righteous thoughts emerged, his arm hung down and his hands just stayed put. I immediately felt that Master was right in front of me!

It is not easy to be a coordinator. From a human perspective, I lacked the necessary skills, but I believed that the Fa could change me and I could do well from the standpoint of the Fa. However, I have too many attachments, some of which I realize and others that are still intangible to me. So, I am still trudging.

The police forcibly dragged me into a police vehicle and wanted to take me to a mental hospital to check whether I had a mental problem or not. I didn't cooperate with them and sat in the vehicle without coming out. My husband came over to threaten me.

After I told him the importance of quitting the CCP and such, he understood me, and repeatedly said, "I want to quit. I want to quit!" After that, he held his hands right there on the street, bowed to the sky, and said loudly, "Buddhas in the heaven above, I've quit the Young Pioneers. I have quit the Young Pioneers."

At that time, a plumbing pipe in my kitchen was clogged and my son could not fix it no matter how hard he tried. I suddenly realized that besides my looking inward, I should also kindly point out others' shortcomings. So I have come to the understanding that just looking inward is not enough, as my selfishness was mixed into this looking inward.

He fought and hit others and cursed at people. His parents tried to teach him good behaviour and often spanked him. I treated him kindly and told him the reason for being a good person. He felt my compassion, and his little heart gradually grew a respect for Falun Dafa. He often asked me to tell him more stories about cultivation.

When there are no customers, I study the Fa. The more I study, the more tranquil I feel. I am not bothered by anything in my surroundings, and I feel like I am in a beautiful place without anyone else around. There is only my consciousness studying the Fa. Words cannot fully describe the feeling

The Epoch Times is every practitioner's concern. Some may only be able to support with righteous thoughts and that's great, others may be able to join the effort hands on as well and that's even better.

When I clarify the facts to people, sometimes I don't hold a pure heart or am not completely selfless. Instead, from time to time, "self" still comes up, as if saving sentient beings were for "accomplishing a task" and for "consummation." Isn't this "adhering to precepts with pursuit?"

Every day I tried to eliminate my deviated notions, which originated from the Party culture. However, when I encountered problems, I always used my deviated human notions to find excuses for myself, and I found many human notions and attachments that do not conform with the Fa.

During group Fa study we spend most of the time reading the Fa and we even extend the time in order to complete a reading. I think this is going to extremes. Of course, the time used for Fa study should be longer than sharing, but it doesn't mean we can ignore sharing.

"The other fellow waiting for coal is responsible for arresting Falun Gong practitioners. Keep your voice down." I replied, "I am not afraid of him, because he is just someone who does not know what Falun Gong is about. Once he understands the true nature of Falun Gong, he will act differently."

Teacher often gives us hints via other practitioners or even everyday people. We should be humble and be willing to listen to anyone's criticism. When someone says anything about us, we should think it over and look within to see if we really do have that problem. Looking inward unconditionally is true cultivation!

In the last six months, I have read through all of Master's lectures twice and memorized Zhuan Falun two times. However, regardless of how much I study the Fa, if I don't conduct myself according to Master's teachings and according to the principles of the Fa, what was the Fa study for?

Even someone like me who has been deeply lost has made it through, so please have faith: there is no attachment that cannot be severed and there is no test that cannot be passed. Doing the three things well is an effective way to quickly remove attachments.

Sometimes, when it was time to send righteous thoughts, although I erected my palm to send righteous thoughts, some game scenes would occur in my mind from time to time. Later, I realized my state was not right, I decided to give it up. After reading some articles by fellow practitioners, I further realized I should not touch those games.

If you cannot afford to pay for other practitioners, just tell them directly that you have no special funds to do so. If you tell the truth, they will understand. If you don't tell them, they won't know about your situation. Those who take things from you do not know that other practitioners also take things from you.

When I dealt with people, I did not consider that they had human temperament, personality, and character, but always judged them with my notions and demanded that others follow what I wanted, so it was easy to cause misunderstandings.

Master told us,
"There is no precondition for practicing cultivation, and one should practice cultivation if one wants to." ("Lecture One" from Zhuan Falun 2000 translation version)
I realize that believing in Dafa and Teacher has no precondition. Only by believing in Dafa and Teacher can one be considered a true disciple and practitioner.

As Dafa practitioners, no matter what we encounter, we should look at it as a good chance to eliminate karma, get rid of attachments, improve our xinxing, and dissolve the evil. We need to use the Fa to measure everything and look at problems with righteous thoughts.

I was located upstairs and every day we needed to go downstairs to have meals. The stairway was so steep that two fellow practitioners helped me to walk up and down the stairs. They also helped me wash my clothes and they cared for me. I felt that fellow practitioners were the best people in this world.

My attachments of pursuing comfort, not wanting to walk, completing a task when it is convenient, being impetuous, and just doing things for the sake of doing them are all things of an everyday person, and they are deviations from the Fa. Due to the existence of these attachments, I studied the Fa like completing a task, and not from my heart.

One of them said, "Falun Gong is good, unlike what it says on TV. The practitioners are good people." Another person continued, "The CCP is so evil and corrupt. It only knows how to suppress the people."

My husband's death was a big test for me. I was considering whether I should return to cultivation or miss out on cultivation forever. I reconsidered my situation and thought it over for several days. Finally I decided to cultivate again.

In hardship, I was still cheerful and I did not dwell on those things. I studied the Fa when I should have. I sent forth righteous thoughts when I should have. I clarified things when I should have. I memorized the Fa when I should have. Nothing could intimidate me!

Also, sometimes my righteous thoughts were not steadfast and I was very easily swayed by others. At times, I was even swayed by non-practitioners. It appeared that I was actively looking inward, while in reality I was only motivated by other people.

The local people have a habit of taking a stroll after dinner, so as I posted these leaflets, those walking behind me would reach for them. These were saveable people; they read the leaflets as they walked. Those who found the leaflets not of interest would not peel them off or trash them. Thus, the materials were not wasted.

I suddenly lost my voice while giving a lecture in class. I had to ask someone to read my notes to the students. I felt really bad. I had told many colleagues about the miraculous healing power of Dafa. Now, I couldn't speak, so how could people believe what I had told them?

I saw propaganda about the "self-immolation incident" on hospital notice boards, and, although I do not study medicine, I always felt something about it was not right. How could a person who has been burned be bandaged so much?
