I also persuaded him to renounce his Party membership. What was unexpected was that he was so grateful that he hugged me and kept saying that I saved his life. He said that his wife is also a Falun Gong practitioner and he did not believe her although she had talked to him about it many times. This time, once I talked to him about it, he believed me.

I looked inward and tried to find what made me feel uncomfortable. I found that I still had human feelings. I was too anxious because she is my family member. I was not patient with her. Although I quoted Teacher's words, they lost power when I spoke them. She could not accept it. It was me who held an attitude.

Because my starting point was my individual cultivation status, I was trying to eliminate my attachments one by one. Therefore I was improving slowly. Of course we should cultivate ourselves. This is of prime importance and something we must do. But I thought those attachments were myself, and I was not able to get out of this trap.

I really want to ask those killers who persecute Dafa disciples, “What on earth is wrong with being a good person? What’s wrong with having more and more good people?” Just because of one sinister person’s jealousy and fear a whole group of kind people have been shackled in a den of evil. My tears flowed without stopping…

The examination results showed Daqiang unfit for detention; however, the police still attempted to find ways to have him admitted. Daqiang continued to shout, "Falun Dafa is Good." The more he shouted, the more compassion he had. Tears ran down his face. One policeman said, "Good job shouting! Your Master really saved you!" The camp officials firmly refused to accept Daqiang, despite the police plot to keep have him admitted.

One time, my mother went to buy a watermelon. The vendor was from the same town as my mother. There were too many people buying watermelons at the time, so she didn't have an opportunity to explain the truth to the vendor, but that evening my mother rode her bicycle back to his stall to talk to him. I was sending forth righteous thoughts. In a short while, he quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) organizations.

My husband had pain in his fingers and shoulders which no medication could help. I realized it must be because he had damaged Dafa books and materials. I told him what I thought, and asked him to write a statement expressing regret for having made mistakes due to believing in the CCP's lies, and a willingness of make it up to Dafa. Upon doing so, all his aches were gone!

In college I continued with my Fa-study, but I treated it like a task to be completed. I wasn't serious in following Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance in my daily life. Like many college girls I got on the Internet, made love, and had fun with friends. I did tell my boyfriend about Dafa and got him to make the three withdrawals, but I did it in an everyday person's way. I didn't give him the opportunity to appreciate Dafa.

She was in so much pain that she didn't want to live anymore. I told her to recite, "Falun Dafa is good. Truth-Compassion-Forbearance is good." Her mother also agreed to have her recite it and led her daughter to follow. After three days, she was able to get out of bed and walk with her mother's support. The pain disappeared.

Today, I believe that to forbear does not mean giving the evil free rein. In the face of injustice, the forbearance of practitioners is manifested in not being moved by loss or gain of personal interests, but it absolutely doesn't mean giving up everything in this world, much less resigning oneself to adversity.

When I used to clarify the truth about the persecution of falun gong in China I dared not tell others that I was a Falun Gong practitioner, in order to protect myself and ensure my safety. Later, one experience helped me to enlighten that this was a faulty notion.

I have studied the Fa (the teachings of Falun Gong) and done the five exercises every day since starting the practice. I also watch Master's videos, and I have been getting better and better every day. Through studying the Fa, I gradually came to understand the dilemmas that I encountered, and my xinxing (heart and mind character) improved as well.

Through diligent Fa study, my understanding became clearer. I actually treated my family members different from outsiders. I always hoped to maintain a harmonious atmosphere at home, and was afraid of facing problems. Therefore, during a conflict my mind was immediately interfered with.

After he came back, he told me, "The police want to send you to a labour camp for a year and are asking that you go to the police station for a medical examination. You might not have to go if your physical situation doesn't meet the requirements. They also said if you do not go, they will force open the door with a bar and also turn off the water and electricity to our home. They warned you not try to escape because their people are everywhere."

Master said in "Fa Teaching at the 2008 New York Conference," "Now is the final moment that concludes arrangements that are eons old." With the rapid progress of the Fa-rectification and the elevation of our cultivation levels, the requirements for us only get stricter and stricter. Every one of our thoughts and acts must be based on the Fa.

Problems occurred in our regional Dafa materials distribution site. Everyone connected with me for Dafa projects was persecuted by the evil CCP. It was a test when one of them was arrested. I sometimes felt fear. Whenever things happened I calmed down, studied the Fa and sent forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the old forces, dark minions and rotten ghosts who attempted to persecute and disturb me.

"Selfishness" is like a lock that confines one's wisdom and ability. If selfishness exists, then the person will be occupied by their human notions and will pursue their individual self-interest. If one continues to get rid of selfishness, one will be able to continuously reach higher levels.

One man in his early twenties who had been practicing Falun Dafa for a few months was curious and decided to get his aura photographed. As it turned out, his aura was unlike anything the man running the stall had ever seen before. The colours were incredibly bright, and there were a number of bright clusters of yellow matter, the most notable being a circular shaped bright yellow mass in the area of the practitioner’s lower abdomen.

. When she returned to exchange money for her husband's release, the CCP officials said that they could not release him. She became so angry that she pounded on the table and told the communists that they had no moral concepts, and added, "Now I know that the problem is not Falun Gong. It is communism. In the past I always blamed my husband and Falun Gong, but they do not lie. They believe in Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. You guys are liars, and cannot be trusted..."

On our way back to my company, a colleague said to me, "I was really shocked when you gave the speech without a script. I was not sure what you were going to say and was worried you might scare away my clients. You are a very rational person and yet you talked with such profound feelings. You recommended the show with sincerity. I would certainly get tickets and watch it." (Later he bought 6 tickets)

The following morning, I again went to pick some parsley. As soon as I arrived at the garden, my MP3 player with Teacher's lectures suddenly stopped working--I felt distracted, wondering if this was a hint from Teacher. I enlightened that I should not have taken advantage of my neighbour’s friendliness by eating her vegetables, which she had laboured for. How much de (virtue, white matter) would I lose if I did not pay for the food? I have to buy what I want to eat.

The best way to cut losses is to look inwards at our own heart nature, to align ourselves with the Fa, and to send forth righteous thoughts to clear out evil spirits in other dimensions. As practitioners, we must stay in line with the Fa while acting normally in human society. Just talking about these subjects will not bring benevolence. We must watch our thoughts and deeds.

Maybe this earnest attitude in studying the Fa laid a solid foundation for joining the Fa-rectification later on. During my ten years of cultivation, Fa study has been the most important thing for me. I persevered in studying the Fa and practiced the exercises every day. I have read Zhuan Falun more than 200 times and studied Teacher's lectures more than 20 times.

When we finished reading Zhuan Falun for the first time, we thought, "If only we could have obtained the Fa earlier!" So we made use of all our spare time to study the Fa. We listened to the Fa on our way to work. We read a few paragraphs of the Fa when we woke up in the middle of the night. We listened to the Fa and studied the Fa when we were not busy at work. Sometimes we studied the Fa in our dreams. We tried our best to measure our actions against the Fa.

After we were chased out by our former employer, we rented an apartment. Two months later, police officers from the place we used to live knew the school that our children went to, followed them home, and found where we had moved to. They reported us to the local police. The local police then instructed our landlord to follow us every day because we practiced Falun Gong.

I finally compromised, and later I regretted my decision and realized that I had fallen down during this test. Just as Teacher said, "If you can't pass the first test, then the second one is going to be really tough." (Zhuan Falun). After that, he monitored me more closely and prohibited me from studying the Fa or contacting fellow practitioners. I was depressed for a long time. I thought that I was not qualified to be Teacher's disciple and that I had failed to live up to Teacher's compassion.

One time I approached one of the people following me and asked why I was being followed. The person fled without saying a word. After that, I started to tell my fellow classmates about the government surveillance. Also, the officials sometimes followed me while I was with my classmates. This really showed my classmates that the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) persecution of Falun Gong practitioners was real and tangible.

Several days later, we received feedback that many updated posters had been posted. An evildoer from the local police station complained to government officials, "I told you I did not want to go to that practitioners' home [and extort money], but you insisted on me going there. Now even my home phone number is exposed, what can I do?"

As we improve ourselves level by level, the standards we must meet also increase. So, I think no matter how long we cultivate, only by unconditionally looking inward will we upgrade ourselves. Treating the people around us well is a natural state resulting from cultivation. When we rid ourselves of attachments, people we interact with will naturally feel the beauty of Dafa and we will naturally fulfil our roles in validating the Fa.

The police arrested my husband after July 20, 1999. During my efforts to get him released from jail, I strongly felt society's dark side and the evil nature of the Communist Party.

I dug deeper, and thought about when this person created the huge tribulation, how much de (virtue) he had lost, how much karma he created, and what would be there waiting for him, how pitiful! He helped me understand the Fa, and elevate through tribulation, so I should thank him and have mercy on him. My resentment was finally replaced with compassion. I truly felt elevated.

. I have discovered that during the process of memorizing the Fa, I can overcome these issues. If I still focus on the quantity of what I read as I did before, and if I am unable to calm down during the memorization process, I will not be able to make any progress. If I do not regard Fa memorization with great seriousness, memorizing just one paragraph will take me several hours, not to mention revelations and comprehension of the profound Fa principles.

Sometimes, when I am a little slack in my cultivation, I look out at the city and think to myself: why, among so many hundreds of thousands of people, am I one of the relatively few people who obtained the Fa here? Isn't there someone else out there who could do a better job than me to validate the Fa? I look at my own history in this life, and it's hard to fathom that a person who made as many mistakes as me could be fortunate enough to obtain Dafa.

I am learning to live the life of cultivation - it is the greatest adventure that is available to anyone. I am learning to let things happen naturally, so there is a greater ease in our family now. I have become more tolerant of other people's ways. I let people do what they want without insisting on my best way for them. For me that is a big change! I no longer think I know what is the best way for other people to live their lives. I let them work it out for themselves.

My experience proved that memorizing the Fa can indeed solve the problem of not being able to concentrate when studying the Fa. I hope my experience can help fellow practitioners who have this problem. Memorizing and reciting the Fa is absolutely doable and absolutely good. I've been doing it for over four years and I highly encourage it.

Yesterday I ran into a conflict with a family member. I wanted to pass the test so I was tolerant and did no argue. At the same time, I looked inward to find my human notions and attachments. I quickly discovered that I didn't have enough compassion towards my family members. I didn't regard them as non-practitioners who need to be saved; instead, I eagerly tried to change their behaviour with my human sentiment.

. Once I spent six money bills that had phrases clarifying the facts written on them. The shop owner said, "You are a Falun Gong practitioner." I said with a smile, "It will guarantee you a safe future if you quit the CCP. Have you ever renounced it? It will take effect if you write your alias on the back of the bill." He asked me, "Do you have more bills like this? I'll exchange with you." I told him that was great.

When others sold tickets, I was as happy as if I had sold the tickets. I abandoned a cultivators’ most dreadful attachment: jealousy. Dafa practitioners are one body. Every practitioner has his own weak points as well as strong points. When we cooperate well, we can learn from others’ strong points and overcome our own weak points. We can overcome all of our obstacles. Nothing is by accident.

It was our hearts that were causing the persecutor to become more and more evil. All of the practitioners involved in the effort to rescue their fellow practitioners felt that this official was beyond salvation and they were full of hatred towards him. However, fighting evil with evil is wrong, and will be made use of by evil in other dimensions. Persecution will also be heightened in proportion to this attachment, resulting in further complication of the situation.

Sometimes, I am very effective in clarifying the truth, but it sometimes has no effect for several days. When I am diligent in practice, it is very effective, and when I am not diligent, it is ineffective. For a period of time I was arrested and detained, and all day I thought about how to explain the truth. As a result, in a short two to five minutes, and with five to six sentences, I could explain the truth and convince others to do the "three withdrawals." One person out of three withdrew

Aunt Liu had almost reached the end of her endurance when a neighbour introduced Falun Gong to her. She immediately requested a copy of Master Li's recorded lecture series and began doing everything according to Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. It wasn't long before Aunt Liu's diseases disappeared and her whole body felt light and healthy. Having reached desperation, she found happiness in life once more.

One high-ranking official told me a story of one of his classmates - she had two family members who practiced Falun Gong. Her two daughters were expelled from their work units because they went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong. They later got divorced. One of them was tortured to death. Their mother, this person's classmate, cried every day and was truly miserable. People all fear the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) because it is brutal.

Speaking of enlightening in the Fa, I can say confidently that not only are my illnesses all gone, but also I have really enlightened to who I am and have enlightened to the principles of the Fa at my level. I feel happy and lucky to have chosen the right way to return to my original self. I didn’t enlighten to any of this in studying Buddhism in the past many years.

I have a friend who has three family members, and they all practice Falun Gong. Before practicing Falun Gong, her parents had poor health. They got sick very often. Even though they did not have serious illnesses, they often visited the hospital. Their home was practically like a medicine shop. Because they had visited doctors so many times, they had become like half-doctors themselves. Once they started to practice Falun Gong, they became healthy very quickly.

Another practitioner told me about a practitioner who was arrested illegally by agents of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). His wife was about to visit him at a brainwashing centre. Since it was very far away, the practitioner who told the story had volunteered to go with her. The wife was moved to tears by his offer of support. When I heard this story, I cried too. Why? Didn’t his actions manifest the “selflessness and altruism” that Dafa requires of us?

On the first evening, after having been out all day, I was in a good mood before I fell asleep. But I realized that I had been a little afraid of those really evil stares and words that I encountered from some Chinese sent by the CCP (Chinese communist party). More precisely, I was afraid of the unpleasant and persistent anger from people that confronted me. Here, it was not enough to be just kind; here compassion and tolerance had to be very great. Perhaps, I too had anger in me when I sometimes became tired of the persecution and just wanted it to end.

A cultivator should start with being a good person in ordinary society, then they should become better than that, a person beyond the realm of everyday people. A practitioner must not be content with just being good like everyday people.

Doing well in everyday work is also our responsibility. Our performance will influence people's impression toward Dafa. If we are unable to create a good image with everyday people, how can we lay a good foundation for truth-clarification, or encouraging people to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations?

We must study the Fa more, cultivate ourselves well, let go of all human attachments, use righteous thoughts and righteous actions, and watch every thought and every action, so as to not give the evil any gap to exploit. When we encounter a tribulation, we have to treat ourselves as cultivators, look inward, and cultivate ourselves. We can only pass tests when we have faith in Master and the Fa

One day five labourers came to me. I said to them that they had worked hard and talked with them about how corrupt the society and government officials were and gave specific examples. Two of them didn't want to listen and kept going straight ahead. I stopped them and asked them to listen patiently. I told them why people should withdraw from the CCP. Eventually all of them withdrew from the CCP.
