On May the 9th 2004, Falun Gong practitioners from every corner of Taiwan gathered in Kaohsiung City in Southern Taiwan, and held a series of celebratory events such as a sightseeing event, photo exhibition, group exercises demonstration, dance performance and concert.

On May 8, North Carolina Falun Dafa practitioners gathered at Duke Gardens to celebrate World Falun Dafa Day. Many tourists couldn't help taking photos of the practitioners' event. Some asked questions about what is Falun Dafa. Many tourists commented that Falun Dafa is so graceful and asked about information about Falun Dafa practice sites.

May the 13th 2004 was the 5th World Falun Dafa Day. It was also the 12 year anniversary since Falun Dafa was made public in China. In order to celebrate this great day, practitioners from Gothenburg, Lerum and Nossebro gathered in the centre of Gothenburg to inform people about Falun Dafa and the persecution of those who practise it in China.

Through this activity, we wanted to show Falun Dafa’s goodness to people. Although not everyone could understand Dafa profoundly, everyone had the chance to know about Falun Dafa and left with their Chinese names on paper and pleasant thoughts. Perhaps they would frame the paper and hang it up in their homes to show to their friends and relatives.

It has been 12 years since Falun Dafa's introduction in 1992. In a blink, it is about to enter the 13th year. In order to welcome this special occasion, Falun Gong practitioners in Jakarta, Indonesia began holding a series of activities from 6:00a.m. on May 9, 2004 in Xunmeng Garden in Anzu.

On the evening of May the 8th 2004, to celebrate the 12th anniversary of Falun Dafa's public introduction, Falun Gong practitioners in Japan held the first Japan Falun Dafa Week Concert. Several hundred local Chinese and Japanese people watched the performance.

"UK practitioners thank Master for all he has done for us. We are indescribably grateful for the chance to cultivate in this Fa and for the historic mission that has been bestowed upon us. We will walk our paths even more righteously and do the three things even better as the Fa-Rectification continues."

"We learned a lot from Dafa. Using righteous thoughts and actions, we face all difficulties and tests, and have broken through all illusions and false impressions. Only this path leads to the endless and boundless cosmos and leads us to our true homes."

On May 9th, 2004, in Trafalgar Square, London, UK Dafa practitioners celebrated the 12th anniversary of Falun Dafa Day. Crowds of people poured into the square during the celebration and came to watch the performance one group after another. Throughout the four-hour performance, lots of people learned about and gained a wonderful impression of Falun Dafa.

On May the 9th 2004, Falun Gong practitioners in Washington DC gathered in front of the United States Capitol and celebrated the Fifth World Falun Dafa Day. Large banners that read "World Falun Dafa Day" and "Worldwide Celebration" were hung on tents. The practitioners gave various performances.

Falun Gong practitioners from Montreal and Ottawa began celebrating the 12th anniversary of Falun Dafa's introduction to the public on May 8, 2004, featuring a grand parade, dancing performance, photo exhibit, public speeches, and exercises.

More than five hundred Falun Gong practitioners in Australia gathered in Sydney on May the 8th 2004 to celebrate World Falun Dafa Day (May 13) and the twelfth anniversary of Falun Dafa's introduction. Practitioners from Melbourne, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Adelaide, Tasmania, Perth and Sydney held a large-scale parade in Sydney's Chinatown to recount the great and peaceful journey of Falun Dafa.

In the afternoon, Peter Müller from the International Association for Human Rights in Hannover, delivered a speech in support of this activity. The Chairman of the Parliament in Hamburg also sent practitioners an e-mail on Falun Dafa day stating, “I sincerely wish Falun Dafa day a great success in Hannover.”

We held a "Journey of Falun Dafa" photo exhibit in the Centre County Library, and played the film entitled, "Falun Dafa - The Real Story." We also offered free instructions on the five sets of Falun Dafa exercises to local residents.

The Tulip Festival Flower Boat Parade took place in Dow's Lake Park. To celebrate the 11th anniversary of Falun Dafa's introduction to the public and the fourth Falun Dafa Day, and to let more people know about Falun Dafa, Ottawa and Montreal area Dafa practitioners participated in the boat parade.

"Today, I'm learning about Falun Dafa for the first time, but I am already ready to congratulate the people who endeavour to obtain freedom and stop persecution."

Norwegian practitioners gathered together in front of the Norwegian Parliament to celebrate World Falun Dafa Day. Banners were displayed reading “The World Needs Truth Compassion Tolerance” and “Falun Dafa is good”. A photo exhibition was held, with information about Falun Dafa and the truth behind the Jiang regime’s brutal persecution.

Many people were left with a strong memory of the contrast between the peaceful, harmonious field around the practitioners and the brutal persecution that is happening in China. Two TV stations came to interview the practitioners. One report was particularly good, outlining the main aspects of Falun Gong and exposing Jiang’s persecution of 100 million innocent practitioners.

May 17 was the last day of the week-long event. On the beautiful Yarra River, a newly decorated tour boat caught many tourists' eyes. On the boat, Dafa practitioners with traditional Chinese costumes performed and demonstrated the exercises.

More than 1000 Dafa practitioners gathered in Vancouver, Canada and held a grand parade to celebrate the 11th anniversary of Dafa's introduction to public. The large scale and various styles of dancing attracted many people who said that it was the best parade in Vancouver for many years.

Each performance won enthusiastic applause. When the parade ended in Alexander Square, a disappointed lady said to the practitioners, “It’s a pity that your activity has ended so soon. We were not able to make it in time to see you practise the peaceful Falun Gong exercises.”

On the occasion of celebrating the 11th anniversary of Falun Dafa's introduction to the public around the world, Falun Gong Research Society at National Kaohsiung University held a five-day Falun Dafa Week activity from May 12 to May 16, 2003.

On May 13, 2003, Australia's Dafa practitioners gathered on Town Hall Square in downtown Sydney to hold celebration activities for World Falun Dafa Day and in the evening held a Falun Dafa music concert and dance performance.

On May 13, 2003, Colorado Dafa practitioners gathered in Central Park in front of the State Capitol and celebrated World Falun Dafa Day. They set up a booth and demonstrated the peaceful Falun Gong exercises as well as afterwards holding a press conference.

Falun Dafa practitioners in the Greater New York area held a grand parade and art performance in Chinatown to celebrate World Falun Dafa Day and the 11th anniversary of Falun Dafa's introduction to the public. The crowds of people enjoyed the event immensely.

Practitioners in Atlanta held a week long Photo Exhibit to reveal the truth of the persecution in China and hold activities to celebrate World Falun Dafa Day. They received a lot positive support from the local government and public.

Dafa practitioners from all over Vienna came to the city centre to attend this activity. There are many Chinese people living in Vienna. When they saw Dafa practitioners were not downhearted and continued to talk to people from their hearts during this terrible rain and hail storm, they approached the practitioners asking to learn the facts about Falun Gong.

As we handed out flyers, we found that the local people were very open and relaxed. Some would even stop and wait to receive the information. We also visited the local Chinese markets and found the people there quite open-minded. Some had already been well informed about Falun Gong and knew the facts about the persecution in China and the wicked deeds of the Jiang regime.

Following the ceremony, four practitioners set free 50 doves to commemorate the Falun Gong practitioners who have lost their lives in this brutal persecution. This also praised practitioners' ongoing peaceful appeals, and at the same time honoured the Canadian people's values of justice and peace.

A young couple who just came to Japan from the north of China watched the performances from the beginning to the end, and they said excitedly, "Wonderful, so many people practise Falun Gong. This is different from the propaganda in China. The Party can only use lies to deceive common citizens."

Practitioners around the US held many splendid and beautiful activities to celebrate world Falun Dafa Day. The practitioners used the opportunity to explain the facts of the persecution in China to the public and display the beauty of Falun Dafa.
