Falun Gong Appeal: Dozens of Falun Gong practitioners held a sit-in on the sidewalk in front of the Chinese Embassy in Southern Jakarta to commemorate World Falun Dafa Day. The activity held on Tuesday was also to protest the Chinese government's ban on Falun Gong.

World Falun Dafa Day on May 13th celebrates "Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance," and marks 11 years of Falun Dafa being in the world. Australia held many large and beautiful activities to celebrate this day, and through the beauty of the performances practitioners hoped to show the beauty of Falun Dafa.

The French International Broadcasting Station interviewed practitioners during the parade. Practitioners introduced “World Falun Dafa Day,” exposed the Jiang regime’s persecution of Falun Gong, which is based upon lies and brutality, and told people about the genocide lawsuit against Chinese dictator Jiang Zemin for his crimes against humanity.

A signature collection was organised to rescue Swedish practitioner Pirjo Svensson, who is being unlawfully detained by Thailand authorities under pressure from the Jiang regime, despite stern requests to free her from the Swedish government. Practitioners hope that these signatures will encourage the United Nations and the European Union to take part in the rescue efforts for Pirjo.

UK practitioners performed music and dancing to celebrate the 11th anniversary of Falun Dafa’s introduction to the public, and the 4th “World Falun Dafa Day”. The most touching performances were the Chinese songs sung by western practitioners. When they sang “Be Saved” and “Lotus Praise”, people could vividly feel the compassion coming from the bottom of their hearts.

Large display boards, depicting the beauty of Falun Dafa and the horrifying nature of the Jiang regime's persecution, were left beneath the cherry trees near the fountain and there were information desks where Dafa leaflets and Video-CDs in various languages were freely available. Many people came over to ask for Dafa materials and to talk to practitioners.

Many parliament members took Dafa flyers and Video-CDs from us. One of the parliament members was angry when he listened to the truth about the fabricated self-immolation in China. Some parliament members exclaimed “the Chinese government has even done something as stupid as this!”

Some held banners displaying the following statements in both Chinese and Russian: "Stop persecuting Falun Gong" and "Support Justice and Bring Jiang to trial!" They also displayed posters showing Falun Gong's worldwide popularity and the Jiang regime's brutal persecution. Practitioners also made the best use if their time together to send forth righteous thoughts.

Practitioners demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises, distributed leaflets and sent forth righteous thoughts at different places around the city. People happily greeted practitioners, who carried banners reading “Falun Dafa is Good” and "The World Needs Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance".

During May practitioners from Hong Kong, Macao, Saipan and Taipei put together many beautiful displays and held large scale activities to celebrate World Falun Dafa Day. They used this opportunity to clarify the truth of the persecution of Falun Gong in China.

Practitioners around North America Held many activities to celebrate World Falun Dafa Day. They used this opportunity to reveal to the world the truth of the evil persecution in China and the goodness and beauty of Falun Dafa.

May 13th 2003 was the 11th anniversary of Falun Gong's introduction to the public. It was also the birthday of Falun Gong founder Master Li Hongzhi. To celebrate both of these events, practitioners from Greece, Romania, Ukraine, Turkey, Russia and Former USSR regions wish Master a Happy Birthday.

During May, 2003 practitioners from Canada held activities to celebrate the 11th anniversary of Falun Gong's introduction to the public. Practitioners used the opportunity to clarify the facts about the persecution to passersby and to show people the true beauty and solemnness of Falun Gong.

On May 10th and 11th, Australian Falun Gong practitioners celebrated World Falun Dafa Day by holding activities in cities around Australia. The activities included traditional Chinese dancing and Falun Gong exercise demonstrations.

This day marked 11 years since Master Li Hongzhi publicly introduced Falun Dafa in China. Practitioners across the US held many activities including musical performances, photo exhibitions and exercise demonstrations. They hoped to let more people know about Falun Gong and the Jiang regime's brutal persecution.

Nordic Falun Dafa practitioners held activities in Copenhagen to celebrate the eleventh anniversary of Falun Dafa’s public introduction by Master Li Hongzhi in China and to let more people know about the terrible persecution of Falun Dafa in China that has lasted almost four years and claimed over 650 innocent lives.

On the 10th May 2003, Finnish Dafa practitioners gathered together in Helsinki Central Park to celebrate World Falun Dafa Day.Throughout the day, practitioners demonstrated the Falun Dafa exercises, and talked to people about their own experiences and benefits from practising it.
