Ireland’s Dafa Practitioners held activities in Dublin on the 10th May 2003 to celebrate World Falun Dafa day. The activities included a press conference, a parade, exercise demonstrations and handing in letters of appeal to the Foreign Minister and Prime Minister.

"Guided with your teaching, we have steadfastly walked though the darkest four years in history. Amid the unprecedented persecution, we have become more rational, more mature and more determined. Our righteous action and determination is the present we dedicate to Master's birthday."

"Master, please be at ease, we will definitely follow your teachings. No matter what difficult circumstances we encounter, we will not be shaken in our faith in Dafa and our determination in cultivating Dafa. We will continue to strive forward."

Greetings, Benevolent Master! We will firmly cultivate, set strict standards for ourselves, and do well the three things that we are supposed to do. At this historical moment, we will "take the Fa as teacher" and walk each step well with more maturity

Dafa practitioners from around the world send their greetings and congratulations to their most respected and honourable Master on his birthday.

We still remember one year ago, when some practitioners proposed to set up "Changchun Falun Dafa Day," we all felt very inspired and excited...Ever since then practitioners in various places in China also had Falun Dafa Days, one after another.

Following the first Falun Dafa Day in Biskopsgården, this is the second Falun Dafa Day in Gothenburg city.

On October 17, 2002, Falun Dafa practitioners from Northern California held activities to celebrate California's first statewide Falun Dafa Month in front of the State Building in Sacramento, California.

Kansas City, Missouri has proclaimed January 21-27, 2002 as "Falun Dafa Week." On June 24, 2002, Mayor Kay Barnes issued greetings to Falun Gong practitioners in the city, expressed support of the victims of torture, and urged China to abide by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and allow people the freedom of belief.

A Chinese lady took the truth-clarifying literature and wanted to read carefully after going home, and then read the book Zhuan Falun. She also asked for a badge reading "I support Falun Dafa" and put it on immediately.

The activities in Gothenburg had something for everyone. Practitioners handed out balloons, lollipops and paper lotus flowers to children passing by. The children were also able to sit on the grass and learn folding paper flowers themselves.

May 13th this year is the 10th anniversary of Falun Dafa's spreading widely throughout the world. On this special day, Hong Kong Falun Dafa practitioners held a series of celebration activities, including lining up to form Chinese characters, group practice, a parade and an outdoor concert.

This is the first declaration of its kind in Europe, and is a symbolic indication of the continually growing respect towards Falun Gong throughout European society. The inscription included the following tribute to the conduct of practitioners in the face of the brutalities of persecution.
"-Whereas : the great compassion and tolerance displayed by Falun Dafa practitioners, even in the most hostile and cruel environment, has touched the hearts of kind-hearted people."

In response to violent and inhuman persecution, practitioners all over China have established special days to celebrate Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance and to show the Chinese Government that through savage and severe suppression they will not be stopped from improving their health and becoming better people; they merely grow stronger.
