When her family rushed to the police department, they saw that Wang Xiuxia's body was in a freezer and was misshaped. The police refused to let the family take a close look at the body and didn't answer their enquiries about the cause of her death. On the morning of June 17, before her family could take a look at the body, the police, without any sense of human decency, hastily sealed it in a coffin.

Sadly, this elderly lady's life was ruthlessly cut short solely because she wanted expose the crimes committed against Falun Gong practitioners. How could the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance be a crime? How could it be that the practitioners who follow these principles are treated worse than the worst of criminals, denied any shred of human rights and denied their life?

One month later, she and her husband were arrested. Her husband was able to jump out of the police van and escape. Later, local police from Liaoning Province came to Beijing to pick up her and some other practitioners. While the bus back to Liaoning Province was driving down a highway in Tianjin City, she and another male practitioner (whose name is unknown) tried to jump out of the bus to avoid further persecution. Unfortunately, both of them died.

That day, practitioner Liu Jinyu was forcibly dragged by a number of policemen to the office. She was screaming as she was dragged, and one policeman started to beat her while shouting, "Did I tell you to scream, did I tell you to scream?" At the same time, the policeman used two fingers to jab at her neck, causing her to become unable to speak. When Wang Yan suggested that Liu Jinyu be put to work and was rejected, Wang Yan immediately said, "Take her upstairs and fix her!"

In this labour camp, the police often tortured Qian Fajun and Liu Jinhui. Policemen Li Gongming, Yue Linzhen, and Yang Peng beat them, and forced them into a cell where they were constantly monitored during the night. These vicious policemen beat the practitioners' chests with their fists until they were tired. They also handcuffed the practitioners with two sets of handcuffs and barbarically hung them on a cross. The practitioners were deprived of sleep for 4 days and nights. The practitioners' limbs were swollen and they were unable to grab onto anything or walk.

This practitioner was beaten without mercy solely because he wanted to live his life in accordance with the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance. His right to practise his belief was stripped away, his right to freely express his views was stripped away - and most senselessly and cruelly his most very basic human right was also stripped away: the right to live.

This labour camp mainly processes and sews quilts for the Lider General Corporation Ltd. in Changyi, Weifang City. The quilts are for export to more than ten countries, including Japan and South Korea. The labour camp forces practitioners to put name-brand labels on the quilts such as "Beijing Jiangyaling" and "Shuanghe."

He started to refuse to eat what I cooked and stopped talking to me. Later he said he would rather have a wife who was not as good as me as long as she did not practise Falun Gong, to bring him a peaceful life. I thought as a couple we couldn't suffer together and go through tribulations as well. He pushed me so hard that I agreed to get a divorce. I felt very hurt. I lost my home and stayed at my work unit's dorm.

Finally, the policeman used all his might and whacked me on the head with his police baton. My body started to twitch and I was not aware of the condition my face was in. I only felt that the fluids in around my brain were squirting out and fluid trickled down my face. But I was firm in my belief in Teacher, and knew that I would definitely be all right. Perhaps my condition was very terrifying; the policeman who had hit my head wore a look of horror. He cast a glance at the other policeman and quickly walked away.

They also used other horrifying torture means including ironing the practitioners' soles and cutting their flesh open with a knife. Even the head of the camp Meng Xianglin later acknowledged, "The methods used are a little too much."

When asked why she was beaten to this point, one official from the police department growled, "She did not cooperate!" They attempted to cremate her right away, but her relatives voiced a strong objection. In order to hide the evidence, the police took six practitioners as hostages, claiming, "If Kong's body is cremated today, we will release these people today; if her body is cremated tomorrow, we will release these people tomorrow; if her body is not cremated in ten days, we will keep these people for ten days."

In mid June 2003, Ms. Yang Yufangwas taken away by thugs from division three of the city police department. She held a hunger strike in protest of her unjust treatment and the police brutally force-fed her twice, causing her death. Her body was secretly cremated, with no regard for human decency.

Once, nine people altogether, from both work units, went to my father-in-law's home and pressured him. The elderly man felt very sad and could not endure all these pressures. He often cried. He was in a fearful mental state for a long time. He could not calm his mind when he wanted to study the Fa and practise the exercises. Originally, his mind and body had become healthy through cultivation of Falun Gong, but under this kind of detrimental environment and persecution, his health deteriorated rapidly.

The "610 Office" also threatened the Chongqing University leaders, the Engineering school leader, the department heads and fellow teachers, the students, and so on. They are completely forbidden from talking and enquiring about Wei Xingyan's story. They have also officially informed Chongqing University to speak along the same line: "Tell all outsiders that you do not have a student named Wei Xingyan, and do not admit there is a field called high-pressure direct current transmission and simulation technology (or high-pressured power transformer)."

In addition, he was beaten with batons, rods, and bamboo strips, and suffered bruises and wounds all over his body. All this, together with the bitter living conditions in the detention centre, made his health extremely fragile. Several times, he almost fainted. However, before letting him return home, Guangshui City Police Department extorted 13,000 Yuan [the average monthly salary of an urban worker in China is 500 Yuan.] from his family, while the detention centre took a living expense of 400 Yuan from his family.

With direct supervision of Shi Xuezeng and Ma Wenchang, Bing Fengtai led the hired thugs to beat her for several hours until she lost consciousness. These men were so evil that they enjoyed the torture as if it was some kind of twisted and entertaining game. They even exchanged their "experiences of beating and torturing" as if it was everyday conversation.

My mother is 76 years old, and after hearing that I had been detained, her hair turned grey overnight. One day, my husband came to see me; the female person in charge pointed at me and said, "Your husband does not beat you, I will beat you for your husband to give vent to his anger." Then her hand started falling on my face like raindrops, she was beating me and swearing at me non-stop. While she was beating me, she was asking, "Do you still practise or not?"

Ms. Dong Qiuyan is 39 years old, and was a teacher. She was discharged from her job for being a Falun Gong practitioner, and was also arrested and detained several times. In May of 2002, the police broke into her home and forced her into a police vehicle using clothing to cover her head, leaving her 11-year-old daughters alone at home to fend for themselves. Police beat Ms. Dong terribly in order to try to force her to reveal information about other practitioners.

Police pushed Wang Minli out of a 6th-floor window while she was trying to protect Falun Dafa materials in her rented room. Her body sustained many injuries, however the police continued to brutally torture her and caused serious bleeding. Since Wang Minli refused to cooperate with the evildoers and continued to clarify the facts to surrounding people, the police lacerated her larynx (so that she was unable to speak). Now she is in Jilin City Hospital under 24-hour surveillance by the police and nobody is allowed to visit her.

Mr. Ma usually looked after his wife, who suffers from hemiplegia. After his illegal arrest, his 7 year old grandchild and his 80 year old mother were left at home with his wife. Even though other practitioners volunteered to look after them the police refused to allow it, without giving any reason. The police also refused to allow Ma's family members to visit him in the detention centre. Mr. Ma is a retiree of almost 60 years of age.

During his interrogation, the police used violent methods to torture Ji in an attempt to force a confession out of him. By 4 p.m. on the same day, Ji Songhai had been relentlessly tortured to death. After his death, the perpetrators pushed his body down from the 7th floor of a building in order to stage a "suicide." According to people who were at the scene, Ji's body was covered with awful injuries.

Then they pull their arms up over their shoulders to the front of their chest, tie up the practitioners' legs and hang them up in the air from the windows. At the same time, they gag practitioners' mouths with a cloth, put earphones in their ears and continuously play messages that slander Dafa. According to an eyewitness account, people who suffer this torture quickly sustain broken arms, tendons, shoulders, wrists and elbows. Those who endure this torture for a long time have completely broken spines, and they die in agonising pain.

In 2002, after disappearing for quite a while, Zhang Yijie, a very dedicated practitioner finally reappeared. However, a large area of her body was badly bruised. A large portion of her face was dark purple and swollen. Her eyes were swollen shut. Prison police and some collaborators shamelessly yelled, "She has done plastic surgery on herself!"

On March 14, 2001, to protest the cruel persecution, the illegally detained Falun Gong practitioners went on a hunger strike together. Police officers bound their arms and then dragged them out of the jail to be force-fed. Police officers fed Dafa practitioners with chili powder, chili pepper water, or heavily salted water. The event shocked the Hengyang City government. Afraid of taking responsibilities for causing the deaths of Dafa practitioners, evil police officers promised not to torture Dafa practitioners any more, but they later continued their cruel behaviour as usual.

Ms Xu Yunfeng, was a 50 year old Dafa practitioner, who was imprisoned in Chongqing Shapingba District's Jingkou Brainwashing Class for nearly two years and murdered on May 1, 2003. This is yet another blood debt for which Jiang Zemin and the "610" organisation will have to pay. These evil people are extremely fearful of having their crimes exposed and have strictly blocked this news in an attempt to cover up the crime.

I miss my company and every one of my colleagues, but I cannot sit here in safety and ignore such tremendous slander and attacks against Falun Dafa. I must step forward. I really don't want to leave my company. I am developing my career and achieving self-satisfaction here, but I also know that my trips to Beijing will make many troubles for the company, so I hastily chose to resign in order not to affect my company's future and development. My resignation will cause some losses to our company, but I hope you can understand. I obey my company's decision on my causing inconvenience to the company, and I have no complaints.

He was tortured until he lost consciousness and his life was in danger. Han confessed under this horrific persecution and at the edge of unconsciousness. He was sentenced to 5 years in prison. He is currently jailed at Dengta Prison. In addition, when Han was arrested in Beijing, he had 1,700 Yuan cash and a mobile phone on him which were taken by the police. The car Han had purchased with a fellow practitioner Han Kai, with an estimated value of 70,000 Yuan, was unjustly confiscated by Sun Lizhong (Head of Political Security Office) and Yang Dongsheng (clerk).

Some officials then tried to pressure him to divorce me. I did not consent, but the judge said, "I'll rule in favour of a divorce if you continue to practise Falun Gong!" I responded that nowhere in the constitution does it say that practising Falun Gong is grounds for a divorce. The court refused my appeal and said they were informed that they must rule in favour of divorce if someone practises Falun Gong. Because of the unjust persecution of Falun Gong our happy family was torn apart and my son and I suffered a great deal.

After looking at the scene a police officer asked: "Did your eldest son practise Falun Gong?" Liu Zhixin replied: "My eldest son has never practised any Qigong". The police said: "Just claim that he did practise, otherwise we won't take care of your family's case". Liu Zhixin said: "Regardless of whether you take care of it or not, I just cannot tell lies to mislead people". But in order to deceive people and slander Falun Gong, police still spread the lie that "Liu Zhixin's eldest son became psychotic and killed people because of practising Falun Gong".

After her term expired in the afternoon of April 22, "610 Office" personnel sent her to the Xinjin Brainwashing Centre, where she was brutally beaten and tortured. When seeing that Liu was on verge of death, the greedy thugs extorted 1,000 Yuan from her family before they released her. On May 23, the wife of a local Party secretary and two other people picked her up. She was barefoot, her whole body ached and her head was swollen. Her chest was black and blue, and her stomach was swollen. She was a pitiful sight.

This female practitioner risked her life to tell people the facts about Falun Gong and the unjust persecution. She felt it was her moral duty to expose the lies and propaganda that the wicked Jiang regime has disseminated to the unsuspecting Chinese public, corrupting them against Falun Gong. Sadly, she lost her life as a result of this courageous act.

Whenever I heard the guards turn on a loudspeaker to the unbearable maximum volume, I knew they were persecuting her by force-feeding. For quite a long time it had been impossible to put a tube to force-feed her because of the injuries in her nose, oesophagus and stomach, so the thugs cuffed her on a bed and let some people pull her hair and pinch her nose and cheek so that they could pour highly salted rice soup into her mouth. Every time they "fed" her that way for more than an hour.

After learning of her tragedy, her sister, who lives in the United States, came to China to see her. At first, the labour camp did not allow her sister to see her. Later they changed their mind and allowed the visit. After her sister returned to the U.S., she wrote to the labour camp, warning them that she would expose their crimes to the international community if they continued persecuting her sister. Afterwards, the labour camp lessened their persecution a little bit, but Su Mei's current situation is not clear.

Her family members saw the shocking bruises on her body and the big bump on her head from severe beating and demanded that the department concerned and the labour camp provide explanations for her death, but all their requests were stalled with vague answers. Consequently, Guan Ge's body was hastily cremated without any proper procedure.

In order to conceal a very depraved case of a female postgraduate student being raped by the policeman in public, Chongqing University went so far as to delete the speciality of "High-voltage Transmission Power" from its website and then claimed that there was no such a student. The university has really gone too far by taking these actions.

The camp conducted a frenzied persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners. Miserable cries from practitioners and the sound of electric shocks were heard throughout the camp all day long. The camp's Director Meng, Management Section Chief, Zheng Hailing, Education Team Instructor Gao Ke, Logistics Section Chief Lin, secretary Zhao Jiusheng, Police Team Leader Zhao Fengshan, Guo Yiping and Tang Bo were all malicious and used cruel methods to torture practitioners.

During the brainwash sessions, the police forced them to read literature that slandered Dafa and forced them to practise another type of Qigong. They also compelled them to follow the orders "from above" to slander Falun Gong, and put them under duress to get the practitioners to write the "Guarantee Letter," "Letter of Regret," saying that they will give up practising Falun Gong. Since the two men refused to co-operate with the evildoers, they, together with several other practitioners, were sent to a detention centre and imprisoned with common criminal offenders.

The police used all sorts of torture on him for six nights and days. Wang Kemin's body was severely injured, but through his righteous belief in Master and Dafa, he recovered. The deputy chief of Sa District Security Team said, "If Wang Kemin goes on a hunger strike this time, we will kill him. If he runs away, we will shoot to kill." In the end, through the help of other practitioners and his righteous belief and righteous thoughts, Wang Kemin again successfully escaped.

On April 27, 2002, he was arrested again by people from Jixi's "610 Office" for solely downloading articles from the Minghui net (a Chinese Falun Dafa website). Currently, he is being incarcerated at the Jixi Forced Labour Camp without a trial. According to inside sources, Wei Xiaodong suffers from TB brought on by the severe persecution. He is extremely thin and weak, and has also lost almost all his hair. The labour camp did not allow proper treatment, and the university callously fired him.

Practitioner Jiang Guilin from Jilin Province had a heartbeat of 260 beats per minute, but the authorities still refused to release him, and still forced him to do hard labour. It was learned that recently six Dafa practitioners attempted to escape while performing labour, but they didn't succeed. After they were caught and sent back, their sentences were extended, and they received barbaric electric shock torture.

We hear that the Shahekou District Court of Dalian City is secretly planning an illegal trial for Qu Bin and Wang Dawei. We have heard that their sentences have already been decided. Although their family members can hire lawyers, the lawyer is only allowed to enter a guilty plea. All the evidence is fabricated, and the police have forced the practitioners to sign confessions under the cruelest torture. The court will hand down a decision of "guilty" based upon these coerced confessions.

Zhang Yuping was illegally arrested while she was taking her child to play outside. The police heartlessly ignored the three year old child on the street, and sent Zhang Yuping directly to the First Division of Changchun City Police Department. They tortured her for over 30 hours with methods such as whipping and using the "tiger bench," which led to her lower body becoming paralysed.

After the supervisors' names for the Shapingba District "610 Office" were exposed, people from inside and outside of China continuously called the homes and offices of these "610 Office" supervising chiefs to condemn them for the atrocities they committed against Dafa practitioners. These thugs are now living in constant fear from a guilty conscience.

The journalists, doctors, and the nurses were all very angry at what had happened after witnessing this persecution. Who could be so cruel to a person who would not retaliate when hit and cursed? The journalists took over ten photos of his body with ugly cuts and bruises all over, intending to publish them in the newspaper. However, the municipal government, the police department, the court, and "610 Office" all stepped in and did not allow the publication of the photos.

Mr. Liu had a very good attitude and appeared to be mature beyond his young age. Acting as an elder person would, he cared for practitioners newly detained there and other detainees. Mr. Liu was righteous, noble and open; he explained the truth about Falun Gong and the persecution to non-practitioners in the jail. He validated Falun Dafa through his own behaviour and the impression he made on others. Mr. Liu was respected and much-loved by his fellow inmates.

The homeless girl Sun had to live in an apartment rented by a fellow practitioner. However, in mid-April, police came and kidnapped her. Police from the "610 Office" beat practitioners very hard. Zhang Hongbo, who was also kidnapped together with Sun, was bruised all over her body due to the inhuman beating, and her stomach was severely damaged. Such sadistic behaviour towards a poor defenceless 18 year old young girl!

Police in Jinan City were making use of the people's fear of SARS to find Zhang Mengcheng. This treacherous means of arousing panic in the populace in order to achieve its own purpose is no different from what Jiang did. If some SARS patients really did escape from the hospital, I am sure that the public would not have been told. This is because what Jiang and his regime are interested in is not people's safety, but their own power and position.

After Shang's situation was revealed, police in the Shijiazhuang City Police Station were very upset. They teamed up with the Zhengding County Police Station and other area police, making use of large quantities of material, money, and human resources to find him. They went to Beijing, Tianjing, Taiyuan, Handan, Xingtai, Shijiazhuang, and over 10 other counties, spent over 100,000 Yuan, (it is has been said by some people that a million Yuan was spent) and used all means, devious and otherwise, to locate Shang.

Ms. Pan Jing from Dandong City is currently been detained in the 4th Group of the 3rd Brigade of the Masanjia Forced Labour Camp. In December 2002, she was tortured until she completely lost the use of her feet causing her to become disabled. She is now being detained in a small cell to be subjected to further persecution.

Three Dafa practitioners from Mishan City, Heilongjiang Province have tragically died as a result of persecution. Yu Tianyong died in January of 2003, Liu Guiying died sometime between October and November 2002 from being unable to breathe after she was hideously force-fed five times by Zhao Shuguang, head of Mishan City Hospital. Yang Hailing died from persecution on April 12, 2003. Details of her death are being investigated.
