The Asian section of the French International Broadcasting Station broadcast the following message to its recipients, which includes viewers in mainland China:

“In a recent press statement, a spokesman for the European Falun Dafa Information Centre commented; “while Jiang Zemin recently visited the U.S, he was successfully served with a writ to stand trial. A lawsuit was filed in the Illinois District Court, where a pre-trial conference was held to brief the Attorneys involved [about the lawsuit]. The lawsuit enables Falun Dafa practitioners to bring the charges of Human Rights abuses and Genocide against Jiang, and also to bring up charges related to the “610” Office [an agency specifically set-up to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power and jurisdiction over all levels of the government].

It was also reported that Falun Gong Practitioners in more than 50 countries are to hold activities including candle-light vigils outside Chinese Embassies worldwide for three days, from the 12 through to 13 of January. A series of press conferences, to highlight the recent increase in death cases of Falun Gong practitioners in China, will also be held [in more than 50 countries].”
