Germany: A Dresden Practitioner Reveals the Truth about Article 23 on Prime-time TV

On the evening of December 19th, a German Dafa practitioner was invited to appear on a prime time news program, which was broadcast live in Dresden. The news team wanted this practitioner to tell the German people about the persecutory nature of the Article 23 legislation. After briefly describing the basics of Article 23, the practitioner revealed how this legislation is the direct result of pressure from Jiang Zemin’s regime in China. Even holidaymakers suffer the risk of life imprisonment if they say anything against the Chinese government whilst in Hong Kong – everyone’s basic rights and freedoms are under threat.

Practitioners have a good relationship with the staff of this television station in Dresden and have often took time and effort to tell them about the brutal persecution being suffered by Dafa practitioners. Therefore, the station has always reported positively on Falun Gong and has not been deceived by the lies that are featured in the government-controlled media in China.
