Painting: "Harmony"

Music had a very high position in the society of ancient China. This is because the ancient Chinese believed that music can change a society's customs and on an individual level it can mould one's sentiments and feelings.

The picture shows a garden surrounded by bamboo trees where there are three beautiful ladies. One is playing a Chinese flute, one is playing a pipe and the other is playing a harp. The beautiful scenery and lovely weather make the music is especially harmonious and moving. The ensemble shows that the musical instruments are playing together in harmonious happiness.

The artist, Zhang Cui Ying, gave this painting "Harmony" to the Ukrainian President, wishing the Ukrainian people a happy and harmonious life and that peace always be with them.
