The guards at Fuyu County Labour Camp in Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province cruelly persecute Dafa practitioners. Led by their Party Secretary and under the direction of the 4th Team leader Jia Weijun, the guards handcuffed Dafa practitioners to a frame, a water pipe underneath a heater, and even some to a bed headboard with their hands behind their backs.

The guards hung up practitioners with handcuffs for up to 14 consecutive days. Those practitioners who were not tall enough were hung up with only their toes touching the ground. They also used a torture method called "Carrying a Sword in the Back": The practitioner's hands are handcuffed behind his back with one hand over the shoulder and the other hand against the lower back. The police then apply a great deal of force to pull the two hands toward one another and handcuff the two hands together. Several practitioners were hung up from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. without a break.

Some practitioners went on a hunger strike to protest the illegal persecution and were thus force-fed. The guards extorted 46 Yuan per person each time (500 Yuan is the average urban monthly income in China) after force-feeding a practitioner on hunger strike. The labour camp bought 28 extra handcuffs because there were not enough torture instruments for persecuting Dafa practitioners. Meanwhile, they incited criminal prisoners to beat practitioners.

Ci Hai, Wu Hongjun, Lan Hongjun, Gao Deyong and some other Dafa practitioners held a hunger strike to resist the persecution, protesting the despicable methods used by the police, such as assigning two prisoners to monitor each practitioner side by side for every moment of the day, even when the practitioner went to the toilet.

Even in such a vicious environment, Dafa practitioners are still steadfast in their righteous thoughts.
