Czech Republic/Slovakia: Introducing Dafa and Clarifying the Truth

During the summer Falun Gong practitioners from Czech Republic and Slovakia visited quite a number of Czech and Slovak cities to introduce people to the exercise and principles of Falun Gong and inform them about current brutal persecution of innocent practitioners in China.

Many people expressed their sincere interest in learning about Falun Gong and why Jiang Zemin has ordered Falun Gong to be persecuted so mercilessly. Many kind-hearted people supported the principles of Zhen, Shan, Ren (Truthfulness, Benevolence, Forbearance) by signing our petition.

Bratislava, Trencin, Trnava and Martin in Slovakia and Prague, Hradec Kralove, Pardubice, Karlovy Vary, Kladno and Olomouc in the Czech Republic are some of the cities where Dafa practitioners visited. One man in Bratislava, who met a group of practitioners peacefully meditating, declared in a loud voice in front of a group of people watching the meditation: “This is the Law. Few people know it, but it is the Truth.”..“I would give my life for these people.”

In spite of the fact, that Christianity has deep roots in Slovakia, Falun Gong was accepted in a friendly manner. Some of the Christians could see after a talk with practitioners that we have something in common: Principles of Zhen, Shan, Ren are not inconsistent with their teaching and Falun Gong practitioners are persecuted in China just as Christians had been in the past. One open-minded Christian listened to a practitioner telling him how practitioners strive to improve their character and become still better and better people and then he said:
“I am happy to see people with such values. It is God´s Law to be good people. But people are no longer good. They go only after money .. you are God´s messengers.”

We visit one city after another and met people with a sense of justice. They utterly condemned the persecution of Falun Gong everywhere we went. They often ask how they could help. In Prague, where there are many tourists, we meet many people who have known for long time Falun Dafa is good and they are well informed about the situation in China. They tell us: “Go on. We keep our fingers crossed for you.”

We regularly hold peaceful appeals outside the Chinese Embassy in Prague and believe that with righteous thoughts in our hearts we can help people to make their own opinion about Falun Gong. We wish their opinion is based on understanding the true essence of Dafa, which is Zhen, Shan, Ren.
