It is October again, a time for a good harvest. It is also the time for Crawford, the hometown of President Bush, to celebrate its traditional Tonkawa Festival. It is the most bustling time for this small mid-Texas town of the year. To add more colour and different cultures to the celebration, Falun Dafa practitioners attended the festival and the parade.

As early as 5 AM, people from other towns and cities and tourists from faraway arrived at the town. They sat by the street to await the arrival of the parade. At 10 AM, the parade started from the square in front of the Crawford School and set off to Main Street. The golden yellow Falun Dafa Team walked along the street slowly. At the front of the team were banners reading "Falun Dafa" and "Truth Compassion Tolerance," which were followed by a beautifully decorated float. A few practitioners in exercise uniforms peacefully and serenely demonstrated the exercises. Ten female practitioners in beautiful Chinese costumes performed traditional Chinese dances. Their dances showed the beauty of Chinese traditional culture and received a warm welcome from the audience.

After the parade, the practitioners appeared at a booth in the market, where they displayed truth-clarifying information and taught the exercises for free [All Falun Dafa activities and exercise classes are free of charge]. They brought the beauty of Falun Dafa to the people of Crawford.
