Torture of Practitioners at Ping'antai Labour Camp in Gansu Province

The guards of the female team at Ping'antai Labour Camp in Gansu Province used violence against practitioners in an attempt to force them to write the "three statements" [renouncing Falun Gong]. It was the practice of the guards to take the practitioners outside in secret, one by one, cuff them from behind, and hang them in midair. While they were hanging helpless in the air, the guards then sent two extremely cruel drug addicts to beat them, in order to brutally force them to write the "three statements." After they finished torturing the practitioners, they tried to hide their violence and would tell others that they were "educating," "saving," and "helping" the practitioners. Hu Ruimei, the instructor of the second unit, is especially vicious. A practitioner, sobbing deeply, told her family members when they visited, "I didn't think I would still be alive to see you!" Hu had just tortured her, but after she heard what the practitioner said, Hu had some drug addicts take her behind a wall and brutally beat her even more. Hu even tortured a 61-year-old grandmother. She tied the elderly practitioner up and put her in a root cellar (in northern China, people store vegetables in this kind of cellar during winter), and hung her in midair for over 2 hours.

In addition to the drug addicts, the guards used practitioners who have succumbed to the extreme torture, such as Zhang Hui and Song Zhanyun, to torture practitioners, and coerce them into writing the "three statements." When I left the labour camp, the practitioners who were forced to write the "three statements" asked me to write a clarification on Clearwisdom.net, saying that their "three statements" are null and void. Because I can't remember all of the practitioners' names, I will just say that all of the practitioners who are in Pingantai Labour Camp and are undergoing brainwashing (other than the collaborators who succumbed to the torture and persecute the others) regret very much that they didn't resist the evil persecution firmly enough, and have damaged Falun Dafa. They are determined to compensate for their mistakes.

It is impossible for people to imagine the viciousness of the camp. The guards say they will punish the bullies of the camp, but actually, they created the bullies. They use the bullies to torture practitioners so that they don't have to do it themselves. The bullies try their best to please the guards, so that they can get out of the heavy labour they have to do, and so that they can leave the labour camp sooner.

When practitioner's families come to visit, the guards force them to curse Falun Dafa. If they refuse, they can't visit the practitioners. Thus the guards have revealed their true nature to more people. My sister realised the truth when she came to visit me. Now, whenever she hears someone say that Falun Dafa is not good, she replies, "Stop that nonsense at once. Falun Gong is good!" She has benefited from standing up for Falun Dafa. Her friends have told her that her wrinkles have diminished, her skin is clear and smooth, and she looks younger and prettier than before.

A drug addict by the name of Chen Xiaohong of the third unit always assists the guards in brutally beating the practitioners, or cuffing them behind their backs and hanging them in midair, and severely torturing them. Li Xiaojing, a police officer, promoted her to "cell leader." Thus, many drug addicts have seen that they can personally benefit from torturing practitioners, and do so freely. The situation is very serious.
