Ms. Sun Guilan was tortured to death on October 9, 2001. She was 46 years old at the time. On October 1, 2001, she was arrested with 52 other Falun Dafa practitioners, and they went on a hunger strike to protest the persecution. On the fifth day of her hunger strike, the policemen started force-feeding Ms. Sun Guilan. She passed away on October 9.
