In Hong Kong, an unjustifiable trial against Falun Gong practitioners proceeded. Four Swiss citizens and twelve Hong Kong citizens were accused of “public obstruction” and “assaulting police” for meditating outside the Chinese Liaison Office. Evidence proved that those were simply groundless accusations.

The Hong Kong police called a press conference and then captured 16 practitioners who held the peaceful appeal. They dragged the practitioners away by pushing their sensitive acupuncture point, grapping their throats, and with unnecessary violence. However, they then accused the practitioners of assaulting the police. The live videos and pictures showed that there was still plenty of space for the passers-by, and that the ones who used violence were the police. The police blocked the whole place for five days. What was ironic was that they put many plants on the place where the practitioners held the peaceful appeal.

In this political litigation, the prosecutors had no evidence to prove public obstruction. All witnesses were the police or guards of the Chinese Liaison Office.
This political litigation is another example of Jiang Zemin’s persecution of Falun Gong practitioners abroad. Calling on the Chinese government to stop enforcing Jiang Zemin’s order, “killing without mercy,”towards Falun Gong practitioners, the practitioners abroad also become the victims of that order, which is gradually extending abroad. The democracies have got “blacklists” of Falun Gong practitioners [Provided by the Chinese Authorities]. Many Swedish have personal experiences of the persecution extending outside of China.

Falun Gong is legal in Hong Kong. After the return of Hong Kong to China for five years, The Apple Daily of Hong Kong reported, citizens are more and more dissatisfied with the restraint of freedom of protest. According to the official investigation in June, 6.75 people out of ten thought so. It is clearly that under the pressure of the Chinese government, it is difficult to carry out the freedom of speech and freedom of assembly in Hong Kong.

The Falun Gong practitioners should not have been sued, because they did not committed any crime under any situation. Without the evil crackdown of Jiang Zemin, the Falun Gong practitioners would not have had the peaceful appeals, the hundreds and thousands of people who believed in truthfulness, benevolence, and forbearance would not have had their lives been deprived of, the whole nation would not have been cruelly persecuted and been cheated by the lies, the 16 Falun Gong practitioners would not have had to do meditation there, and the Hong Kong and European practitioners would not have had to be forced to accept the unjustifiable trial. The above are what people should be aware of.

Although the Hong Kong government succumbed to the pressure from the power politics of Jiang Zemin and made the unjustifiable judgment, the evil essence of Jiang Zemin will continuously be exposed to the public. The lessons of the history tell people: the evil can never defeat the righteous. The power politics will not last long, because the hearts of good people cannot be defeated.
