Toronto, August 13 -- Falun Gong practitioners started a 48-hour sit-in this morning in front of the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Toronto, protesting the territory's bending to the Jiang regime's pressure by bringing criminal charges against 16 Falun Gong practitioners for "obstruction" and "assaulting police". The verdict is due in two days on Thursday August 15.

Two practitioners initiated the sit-in. One of them is a 67-year old lady. The brother and sister of the other practitioner have been persecuted in China.

They call for the Hong Kong government to immediately dismiss the trial and apologize to the 16 practitioners publicly.
