On every Thursday [Falun Gong practitioners] gather together to practise. Boveri, a native of Mocalili and professor of Turin University, recommends people to take up Falun Gong practice. Falun Gong is an old cultivation system that can purify people’s bodies and hearts. Professor Boveri has been maintaining contact, in the form of cultural exchanges, with countries outside Europe in the last 20 years. China is one of the most prominent. He devoted himself to bringing distant countries’ genuine traditions to Europe. In doing so, he disregarded the economic results and media critics

At one evening cultural exchange party two months ago, Professor Boveri was invited to introduce Falun Gong to the audience. He said, “A few years after being imparted, Falun Gong enjoyed general popularity. Since 1992, the year Teacher Li Hongzhi introduced Falun Gong to the public, tens of millions of people living in more than 50 countries over Asia, America and Europe have begun Falun Gong cultivation practice.[..]

Who are the people who learn Falun Gong? They come from every social class…Falun Gong is composed of five sets of movements, suitable for young and old alike, and don’t require cultivators to meet cultural, social and economic terms…Falun Gong was widely spread through word of mouth. After beginning the practice, people immediately feel the effects on body and mind. They were happy to begin the practice and pass it on to their relatives and acquaintances.

Within a short time of two months, there were over 30 people who had begun to practice Falun Gong Mocalili. They go to a city’s gymnastic centre and practice along with the rhythm of Chinese exercise music. One thing must be emphasised here; according to Falun Gong’s regulations, teaching the exercises is absolutely free of charge.
