Mr. Su Qingbo, 30, is from Xiwangyuan Village, Shiqiaozi, Zhucheng, Weifang, Shandong Province. He worked in an electronics company in Beijing. Kind and honest, Mr. Su was an excellent student. All of his colleagues and classmates think he is an unusually good person.

In mid-January 2011, Mr. Su was reported to police while he talked to people about Falun Gong. Officers from the Fengtai District Police Department in Beijing took him to the Fengtai Detention Centre. The police ransacked his home and confiscated his laptop, mobile phone, MP3 player, Falun Gong books, and other items.

The police did not inform Mr. Su's family of his arrest. Later on, his family learned of his arrest through other channels. They went to Beijing to visit Mr. Su, but the detention centre did not allow them to see him.

Afterward, Mr. Su was sentenced to two years of forced labour. His family was not informed again. Mr. Su was sent to the Xinan Forced Labour Camp in Daxing, Beijing. The labour camp guards did not allow his family to visit him.

At the end of August 2011, Mr. Su was transferred to a forced labour camp in Huhehaote, Inner Mongolia.

Mr. Su started to practise Falun Gong when he was in high school, and experienced big changes in both his mind and body. He performed excellently in his classes. After the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) started to persecute Falun Gong on July 20th, 1999, several teachers in the school took turns threatening him in order to force him to give up his belief. However, he did not yield. Later on, Mr. Su was accepted into college with excellent scores. After he graduated from college, he was admitted to graduate school overseas through a qualifying exam. If he had not been persecuted by the CCP, he might have gone to a graduate school overseas.

Mr. Su has not seen his family for more than a year. His family members do not know any details about his condition, and the guards do not allow them to visit him. Mr. Su's family is very worried about him.
