A tragic event happened recently in Yaodianzi village, located in Yishui county, Shandong province. Ms. Huang Chengmei is a Falun Gong practitioner. Her mother committed suicide by drinking poison because she was tricked by Chinese Communist Party (CCP) officials, who abducted her daughter and sentenced her to two years of forced labour.

On April 11th, 2011, Ms. Huang Chengmei was working on her land when eight officers, including Wu Feng, the director of the police station, Li Chaoyang, dean of Comprehensive Management and others from the Politics and Law Committee and the 610 Office (an organisation of special agents just for persecuting Falun Gong) of Yaodianzi Town came to her home. When they could not find Ms. Huang, they asked her mother where she was and lied to her saying, “Nothing will happen, we're just following orders to check up on her.” The kind, elderly lady believed their words and led them to where her daughter was working. When they found Ms. Huang, they abducted her. Not long after, Ms. Huang was sentenced to two years in a forced labour camp.

The elderly lady felt deep regret and blamed herself. She always told people she met: “How could I have trusted those evil men! If I had not led them to my daughter, she would not have been arrested.” She missed her daughter so much that she could not eat or sleep well for more than a year.

Ms. Huang's husband and brother went to the forced labour camp many times and asked them to release Huang or at least give her a chance to visit her elderly mother. However, the labour camp authorities refused. Finally, in desperation, Ms. Huang's mother drank poison and passed away, full of guilt and regret.
