Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Li Huosheng, 53, from Wuhan City was arrested on April 20th, 2011, and was covertly tried on September 27th. Court officials didn't inform his family, so they could not attend the court proceedings.

More than 30 people broke into Mr. Li Huosheng's home around 1:00 a.m. on April 20th. The intruders were from the 610 Office (an organisation of special agents just for persecuting Falun Gong), the court, the police department, and the community. They searched everywhere and took a computer, a printer, and all his Falun Gong books. They also seized mobile phones from Mr. Li, his wife, and their child. The police later returned his wife's and child's mobile phones, but kept Mr. Li's.

Officers from the Meiyuan Police Station in the Wuchang District informed Mr. Li's family on May 28th to come and collect the arrest warrant, which the officer handling Mr. Li's case did not sign. The charges against Mr. Li were fabricated.

Mr. Li was tried on September 27th, but court officials did not inform his family beforehand.
