Ceng Zhiyuan, a Central News Agency reporter sent a special dispatch from New York on July 9: The Chinese government media reports some satellite TV channels in China were tapped into and Falun Gong videos were played. The Falun Dafa Information Centre headquarters in New York responded today, emphasizing such action indeed broke the Jiang group's information blockade, and "said a just word," it can be called a "great historic feat," and it is a "peaceful and rational action."

Recently, the Chinese government and media in China condemned Falun Gong for interfering with satellite T.V signals in remote areas of China during June 23 to June 30. The government says it's against both the international pact and civil communication rules and it threatens people's safety.

Falun Dafa Information Centre published commentary regarding this accusation, emphasizing although the people who did this are still unknown, this action has truly broken the regime's information blockade, broadcasting words of justice for Falun Gong practitioners who have received unjust treatment, and enabling the Chinese people to see the truth, which they usually don't have a opportunity to. It can be called a great historic feat.

The commentary pointed out that Jiang has never abided by the law during his persecution of Falun Gong. The Chinese media has long been the dictator's mouthpiece and tool of persecution. The victims -- the common people - have nowhere to turn for justice.

In this situation, some people use special methods to break the information blockade and let the people know the truth. Such actions "uphold the freedom of speech and the right to access information protected by the Chinese constitution," "this is a completely just action, a peaceful and rational action."

Falun Dafa Information Centre said at the same time, in countries abroad respecting rule-by-law and enjoying freedom, it is of course unnecessary to take such special measures, since in a free and open society there are many ways for people to appeal for justice and speak their mind. The key problem in China is that, when unjustly treated, people ought to be allowed to speak out.
