South Korea: Divine Land Marching Band Invited to Participate in Soraepogu Festival in Incheon

On the afternoon of October 7th, a parade procession of more than 500 people participated in the opening ceremony of the four-day-long Soraepogu Festival. The Divine Land Marching Band led the parade.

Incheon became well known for the Battle of Incheon during the Korean War. To promote development of the city and the local economy, Incheon held the Soraepogu Festival. The Divine Land Marching Band, composed of Falun Gong practitioners, was invited to participate in this event. The band's bright clothing and peaceful music caught the attention of spectators.

A city council member surnamed Han who participated in the celebration said, "The clothing of the Divine Land Marching Band is very bright. The band brings joy to the ceremony. This is not only my opinion - many local residents said so too."

The band director said, "To present the grace of Falun Dafa to South Korean people, we accepted the invitation."

The Soraepogu Festival was held from October 7th to 11th. Soraepogu is located in the centre of Incheon and is a natural port. It is well known for shrimp, crab and other seafood. It is estimated that nearly five millions tourists visit the city every year.
