Yuan Daoxin from the Xinhuang County 610 Office (an organisation of special agents just for persecuting Falun Gong) ordered Yao Jianlin, Cao Riquan from the Domestic Security Division, and others to go to several local practitioners' homes to arrest them on September 9th-11th, 2010.

Ms. Yang Donglian was arrested at around 9:00 a.m. on September 9th by several plainclothes officers, who had been monitoring her home, as she was preparing to deliver tailored clothes to her customers. She was taken to a detention centre.

Mr. Hu Fangjin was arrested at about 8:00 a.m. on September 1st, when he went out to fetch water. Several people had been waiting for him since the early hours. Mr. Hu has been arrested by agents from the 610 Office numerous times since the onset of the persecution in 1999, and was twice subjected to forced labour. He was beaten so severely that he had blurred vision and his legs were numb. He was dismissed from his job and had to sell water to make a living. Mr. Hu's parents are in their seventies, and they are worried about their son's condition.

Ms. Yang and Mr. Hu were taken to the Huaihua City Brainwashing Centre on September 11th.

Yao Jianlin, Cao Riquan, and two other officers tried to arrest Ms. Wu Yundi at around 8:00 a.m. on September 10th. Ms. Wu's neighbour said that these officers had been outside Ms. Wu's residence since 6:00 a.m. that morning. They knocked on Ms. Wu's door, shouted for people to open the door, and tried to get in through the windows, but their attempts failed.
