On August 1st, 2010, a large walk was held in Pontianak, West Kalimantan, Indonesia. The theme of the walk was to promote healthy living and protecting the environment. Nearly 20,000 people participated in the event. The Divine Land Marching Band was invited to lead the walk.

At 6 a.m. on August 1st, the walk commenced under the direction of Commander Mueldoko of the 12th district in Tanjung Pura.
At the destination of the walk, the Divine Land Marching Band performed for the spectators. A group of Falun Gong practitioners demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises. Many people followed along with the movements and said they would like to learn Falun Gong.
