"Since 1999, Falun Gong practitioners in China cannot practice 'legally' any more. However, this controversial 'belief' has developed very rapidly overseas, including in the Middle East. In Israel, formal members of Falun Gong have increased to over 400 in a few years. In parks in Tel Aviv and other big cities, practice groups can be seen everywhere, and they are almost entirely composed of non-Chinese practitioners, which is pretty remarkable in a small country with only 5-6 million people.
