The Divine Land Marching Band of Malaysia led the parade, and was followed by flags of Falun Dafa and "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" and a big book model of Zhuan Falun. The procession also had exercise demonstrations, celestial maiden dancers and boys and girls.

Many spectators praised the parade for its music and colourful uniforms. Many drivers slowed down to see the parade. Practitioners passed out fliers introducing Falun Dafa (also known as Falun Gong).

Falun Gong was first introduced to the public in 1992 by Master Li Hongzhi. Year 2010 marks the eighteenth anniversary of the cultivation exercise's introduction to the public, and also the eleventh World Falun Dafa Day. May 13th is also the birthday of Master Li Hongzhi. Falun Gong is currently practised by over 100 million people in more than 60 countries. The main works of Falun Gong are available in over thirty languages.
