On March 28, 2010, the French Global Service Centre for Quitting the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) held a rally at Human Rights Square (Esplanade des Droits de l'Homme) at Palais de Chaillot in Paris. The rally called on people from around the world to support the seventy million brave Chinese people who have chosen to quit the CCP and its affiliated organisations. The rally broadcast the content of US House Resolution 605, which was just passed by the United States Congress, in French, English and Chinese and exposed the Chinese communist regime's crimes in torturing and persecuting Falun Gong practitioners.

The rally held at the Human Rights Square (Esplanade des Droits de l'Homme) at Palais de Chaillot in Paris.

Tourists stopped by to read the displays and banners. After they understood what is happening to Falun Gong practitioners in China, some of them asked to sign the petition to support Falun Gong's peaceful protests of the persecution.

Fardegue Phillipe, a French engineer, believed that it was important that the Service Centre persistently tell people the facts about the persecution and distribute the Nine Commentaries of the Communist Party. "Now, certain information is censored and blocked in China. A lot of Chinese people do not know anything about the CCP and the persecution," said Phillipe. He also said that it was only natural that 70 million people quit the CCP and he believed there would be more: "When people learn what the CCP has done in the past 60 years and what kind of catastrophe and misery it has caused the Chinese people, I am not surprised."

Ms. Liu was a CCP member for 30 years in China. After she read the Nine Commentaries, she quit the CCP. She is now a volunteer working in the Service Centre. She said that before she read the Nine Commentaries, she had always believed that the Party was looking out for the people's best interest. "When I read the Nine Commentaries, my heart jumped so fast. I realized that good people have been tortured and persecuted by such an evil regime and I should not be part of it," said Ms. Liu.

Being a Chinese citizen, Ms. Liu not only sees the persecution of Falun Gong but of the common people. "The regime took away people's lands by force, the corrupt officials collude with businesses and produce all kinds of poisonous food and toxic goods. People need to know that renouncing the Party is the only way to a better future," said Ms. Liu.

The Service Centre provides services near the Eiffel Towel and helps tourists from China to quit the CCP. Cheng, a volunteer, said that people quit the CCP and its affiliated organisations every day. Sometimes over 100 people per day quit the Party.

Since The Epoch Times newspaper published the Nine Commentaries in 2004, more and more Chinese people have been quitting the CCP. By March 2010, over 70 million people announced their statements on the Epoch Times' website.
