Dafa practitioner Ms. Zhang Xiuling lived in a residential area in Fudong, Hanshan District, Handan City, Hebei Province.
She had gone to Beijing many times to appeal for Dafa. As a result, she was illegally arrested multiple times. While in detention, the brutal torture inflicted on her caused her to suffer a mental breakdown. In July 2001, she died of torture.
