Practitioners “Water the Lotus Blossoms” with Their Experience Sharing Articles Published on the Minghui Website

I have noticed that many Falun Gong practitioners don't see the significance of sending experience-sharing articles to Minghui.org (Chinese version of Clearwisdom.net). I wonder if we share the following common fallacies, including, “I write poorly,” or “I don't have a deep understanding of the Fa, therefore I have nothing worthy to share.” I once shared the same mentality. As a result, I missed many opportunities to upgrade my level. I have read a number of highly inspiring articles on the Minghui website, so I began to search inward to find the reason I had not written any articles. Have I been complying with Teacher's Fa? I searched long and hard and realized I had been selfish. I only wanted to take and did not want to give. It was a human attachment originating from laziness. I didn't want to use my head in order to write articles. This also originated from laziness. It is an attachment I must eliminate as a Falun Gong practitioner. Even though it is such a strong attachment, I had not noticed it until now.

Studying the Fa, practicing Falun Gong exercises in a group and sharing our cultivation insights are forms of cultivation that Teacher has created for us. We have been cultivating for some time, so we all know that it is critical to our further advancement to attend cultivation experience sharing conferences. Before the persecution of Falun Gong began on July 20, 1999, we were able to attend various forms of such conferences. Even after the persecution started, practitioners in China have managed to have such conferences to exchange cultivation insights. This is because we know it is one of our forms of cultivation. We must keep the path open, as this is the only way to ensure we stay on the path Teacher arranged for us during the Fa-rectification period.

I have studied “Fa Teaching Given at the Fa Conference Marking the Tenth Anniversary of the Minghui Website’s Founding,” and I know that the process of circumventing China's Internet blocking to send our articles to the Minghui website is a process of disintegrating, eliminating and exposing the evil Chinese Communist regime. It is also a process of harmonizing Minghui.org and saving sentient beings. In response to the severe persecution of Falun Gong in China, Minghui has created a channel for practitioners in China to share our cultivation insights. This has become an important venue for practitioners in China to upgrade our cultivation as one-body and expose the evil Chinese Communist regime. Falun Gong practitioners are one-body and are particles of the Fa. Each and every Falun Gong practitioner has the responsibility and obligation to harmonize, pay attention to, and participate in the Minghui website. We should water the beautiful lotus flower that is Minghui.org. If every practitioner shared my selfish idea to only take from Minghui.org, and not give anything in return, what will become of this important channel Teacher has created for us?

It is not difficult at all to write articles for Minghui. but it requires a good understanding of the Fa. A Falun Gong practitioner is different from an ordinary person because Teacher watches over us at all times, including when we validate the Fa. Teacher will know if we have the desire to validate the Fa. If we do, Teacher's fashen will help us attain the wish. An ordinary person, on the other hand, has limited capabilities. If I think about sending articles with an ordinary person's mentality, I will be limited by the Fa at an everyday person's level. I will think of many reasons not to write articles or be obstructed by the writing style instilled by the Chinese Communist Party. Think about the times when we exchange our cultivation insights with fellow practitioners in a Fa study group. Do we think about our words over and over before we speak? When we share our cultivation insights, aren't we manifesting our cultivation level?

Take me as an example. I don't have an advanced degree. I only finished high school. When I was in middle school and high school, China was undergoing the Cultural Revolution, which compromised the quality of my education. I am in my fifties, and I'm not particularly quick or smart. I know nothing about writing. Since I began writing articles for the Minghui website, almost every article I wrote was published. I know very well it is Teacher who encourages me to be diligent. Fellow practitioners working at Minghui have selflessly edited my articles. Each time I saw my articles published on Minghui, I felt something indescribable.

Writing articles led me to realize how profound and magnificent the Fa is. The process of composing and editing articles repeatedly is a process of filtering, refining and tempering myself. It is also a cultivation process of upgrading myself. Writing good articles does not require an advanced educational degree. After all, we are not writing articles for ordinary purposes, we are sharing our understandings of the Fa. Our articles reflect our journeys to return to truth. The levels of our ideas are higher than those of everyday people. Our articles reflect the level of our realms. Articles on Minghui.org aren't always eloquent because some articles are written by people in their sixties and seventies with little education. But their articles are deeply moving and often bring readers to tears. This is because their articles come from the heart. The articles are heartfelt and there is compassion between the lines. Their articles reflect their understandings of the Fa at their respective levels.

I hope that every practitioner will pay attention to writing articles for the Minghui website and quickly eradicate any attachment you might have about writing articles. In the limited time given to us, please have the courage to use your pen to water the beautiful and sacred lotus flower that is Minghui.org.
