The Torture I Experienced in Shanxi Province First Prison

I am exposing the torture that I experienced myself as well as the torture that I witnessed in the Shanxi Province First Prison.

1. The torture that I experienced myself:

(1) One night I did the Falun Gong exercises and was reported. Two guards came. One of them shocked me behind my neck with an electric baton, causing me excruciating pain. After the sizzling sound, I smelled a strong burning smell.

(2) I was cuffed to the bed and deprived of sleep at nights by the inmates assigned to watch me.

(3) I was frequently forced to stand against the wall. There was a period of time that I was forced to do so both during the day and at night, depriving me of sleep.

(4) While standing against the wall, I was not paying attention, and the police officers violently hit my head against the wall. They did not care that I might get injured. I was told they had killed practitioners this way.

(5) They beat me and kicked me, usually hitting my face and head. When they got tired of hitting, they would whip me with their belts. Sometimes the inmates pinched practitioners' thighs viciously.

(6) They stabbed me on my arms, legs, feet, and back with a needle.

(7) The police violently stomped on my foot, hit my hand, or kicked my chest, back, and legs when I was doing the exercises. My hands and feet are still numb.

(8) There was a period of time that I was cuffed all day long, even at night.

(9) I was cuffed and put in solitary confinement. The confinement room was so tiny that one could not stand straight or lie down.

(10) I was watched by monitors.

(11) They held me down, force-fed me drugs and applied external medications against my will.

2. Things that I have witnessed:

A practitioner was knocked unconscious and remained that way for a long time. After he awoke, his face was pale and he had hives.
