Rongrong is just two and a half-years-old. She used to quietly listen to the voice of her father, Zou Songtao, who had a Masters Degree in Biology from the Ocean University in Qingdao Province. Zou was remarkable in his academic achievement and had a very high moral standard. He was a righteous and kind person. He had begun practising Falun Dafa on his 24th birthday in 1996. After he had attained the Fa, he took a leading role in spreading and studying Falun Dafa.

In November of 1999, the year his daughter Rongrong was born, Zou Songtao was illegally imprisoned in the Daishan Custodial Centre, Qingdao Province. He was released after a month. However, police from the Taixi Police Station in Qingdao City later seized him. They pressured him to abandon Falun Dafa and interrogated him, trying to obtain information about other practitioners. Zou Songtao was firm in his refusal to cooperate. The assistant superintendent, Gong Guoquan, and a few policemen tied Zou to a chair and brutally beat him. Zou's head became quite swollen and his whole body was covered with black and purple bruises resulting from the brutal torture. He became unconscious. Later the police delivered him to the Dausu Forced Labour Camp, which refused to take him because Zou was already extremely weak from the torture. He was taken back to the police station. When he regained consciousness, the police sent him to Daishan Detention Centre where he was severely treated.

In July 2000, without any legal proceedings, they sent Zou to the Second Forced Labour Camp in Shandong. That September, without notifying Zou's family, he was transferred to Wangcun Forced Labour Camp in Zibo County. Family visits were not to be allowed unless he was "transformed." The family was also not permitted to send clothes.

Under Luo Gan's direct supervision, Wangcun Forced Labour Camp staff attempted to brainwash Falun Gong practitioners. Practitioners were not allowed to sleep at all. They were forced to watch videos defaming Falun Dafa. They had to write reports describing what their current thoughts were about Falun Dafa. In addition to this mental assault, Falun Dafa practitioners were physically tortured. The Captain of Unit Nine of the forced labour camp, Zheng Wanxin, and prison police bound and hung up Falun Gong practitioners. They used more than 10 electric batons to shock them. Their cries of agony were often heard.

In the morning of November 3, 2000, prison guard Zheng Wanxin, Shao Zhenghua and a few other policemen summoned Zou Songtao to the interrogation room. After more than two hours of mental and physical torture, Zou Songtao died at 11:30 a.m. He was 28 years of age. At this time, his daughter Rongrong was only 11 months old.

Rongrong's mother placed Zou Songtao's ashes in a box on their writing desk. The mother told her daughter the story of her father's death. Rongrong crawled over and kissed the box containing her father's remains.

The mother, Zhang Yunhe, was also a Falun Dafa practitioner. The vicious gang did not let go of this unfortunate family. Since policemen were afraid that the truth of Zou Songtao's tragic death would leak out, they came to the house and harassed the family. Zhang Yunhe was very brave and held onto the truth. She told the public the circumstances behind Zou's death, and because of this, she was arrested. Her whereabouts remain unknown. Rongrong, her grandmother and the nursemaid were illegally imprisoned for two months. The grandmother could not withstand the severe persecution and died. Rongrong lost her parents and grandmother within a year.

Who has caused this human tragedy? Heaven and earth cannot allow such injustice!
