Breaking News: Police Kill Two More Innocent Falun Gong Practitioners

Wu Baowang, male, 36, a Falun Dafa practitioner from Qingling Village, Shuangcheng City, Heilongjiang Province, was tortured to death on May 16 by the Shuangcheng City Police Department. The authorities blocked the news tightly and only gave Wu's family some money for burial expenses. Detailed information about Wu's death is under investigation.

Falun Dafa practitioner Guo Ping was a 27 year-old female resident of Huangjia Village, Weizhou Street Community Office, Kuiwen District, Weifang City, Shandong Province. The police from the Ershilipu Substation abducted her on December 29, 2001. Police climbed over the outside wall of her home to get inside. They confiscated all of her belongings, and even took her little dog. Guo Ping was illegally detained at the Kuiwen Detention Centre. She would not cooperate with the police and went on a hunger strike to protest her abduction. Incompetent guards force-fed her, resulting in a ruptured stomach and severe bleeding. She was sent to the No. 2 People's Hospital on May 15, 2002. Blood coming from her mouth indicated internal bleeding. Her eyes were staring blankly, her hands, feet and face were swollen, and she lost consciousness. She passed away at 9:00 p.m. in the evening, on May 17, 2002.
