Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Li Ruihuan lived in Shijiazhuang City. In January 2002, she was arrested in Beijing at the age of 55. Her whereabouts are still unknown.

In December 1999 and April 2000, Ms. Li Ruihuan and other practitioners went to Beijing twice to speak out for Falun Gong. After returning home, she was arrested by police from the Yucai Street Police Station. Afterwards, she was detained on every so-called sensitive date. The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) personnel also suspended her pension.

Ms. Li was sent to a detention centre twice. In May 2000, when she was detained in the Yucai Street Office, she was beaten because she sat in meditation and practised the Falun Gong exercises.

On January 14th, 2002, Ms. Li and other practitioners went to Beijing to call for justice for Falun Gong. They shouted at Tiananmen Square: "Falun Gong is good!" Ms. Li was arrested and has not returned home. Her immediate family includes her husband, son, daughter-in-law, a daughter in college and a two-year-old grandson.

It was said that Ms. Li was beaten by the Beijing Police and could not move as a result. Eight years have passed and there has been no word of her whereabouts or her condition.
