Peru: Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance International Art Exhibition Held in Lima

On March 23rd-27th, 2009, the Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance International Art Exhibition was held in Chorrillos City Hall, Lima, Peru for the first time. The artworks in the exhibition are from a group of accomplished artists of different backgrounds. The artists all have in common the fact that they practise Falun Dafa and benefit physically and mentally from this powerful practice. The artworks are presented in a righteous, pure, kind and positive way. The paintings expose the persecution of Falun Gong that is occurring in China, and show the practitioners' steadfast beliefs and their efforts in peacefully protesting the persecution.

Throughout the exhibition, visitors were moved by the vivid scenes and the people depicted in the artworks. Many of them asked to sign a petition supporting Falun Gong practitioners and calling for an end to the Chinese Communist Party's brutal persecution. One visitor wrote in the guest book, "Seeing these paintings, I am shocked that such brutal persecution is occurring in China. I feel sorrow, and hope it stops." Another viewer wrote, "I believe that these paintings depict true stories. From now on I'll pray to God and I hope that this crime is stopped as soon as possible."

The Peruvian people wish to know more about Falun Dafa. Several universities and cultural clubs invited the Falun Dafa Association of Peru to hold the exhibition in their areas. The waiting list has been extended into the second half of 2009.
