The Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Summit is being held in Peru from November 22nd to 23rd, 2008. On November 19th, Chinese President Hu Jintao visited Peru. Before his visit, Peruvian Falun Gong practitioners sent information about the persecution of Falun Gong in China to the President of Peru and called on him to extend the practitioners' voice to Hu: "Immediately stop the persecution of Falun Gong!" The practitioners also sent information about the persecution to governmental officials and the media and called for help to stop the persecution.

Practitioners being interviewed

On November 13th, 19th and 20th, Falun Gong practitioners were interviewed by several radio stations. They narrated the facts of the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) persecution of Falun Gong, which the CCP tries hard to cover up. The interviews caught the attention of many listeners. Some of them called the stations to get more information.

On the afternoon of November 19th, Hu Jintao and his delegation arrived in Peru. Practitioners held banners along the roads from the airport to his hotel. The banners read, "Falun Dafa," "Falun Dafa is great," "Falun Dafa is a righteous Fa," "Truth-Compassion-Forbearance," and "President Hu Jintao is welcome to quit the CCP in Peru."
