Falun Gong practitioners participated in the Iichan Cultural Festival of Iijima-Machi, Nagano Prefecture, which was held on October 25th-26th, 2008. They displayed and distributed many informational materials, and demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises.

Iijima-Machi is a small agricultural town of eleven thousand people. The main products include rice, apples, pears and flowers. Many people who came to the festival learned about Falun Gong and some were interested in learning the practice.
