Falun Gong practitioners in Hamburg, Germany protested against the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) for its persecution of Falun Gong at the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce during the opening of the Hamburg Summit on September 10th. It was reported that the Chinese Vice-Prime Premier Zhang Dejiang attended the opening reception of the summit.

Falun Gong practitioners unfolded a banner stating “Bring Jiang Zemin, Luo Gan, Liu Jing and Zhou Yongkang to Justice.” They distributed fliers and exposed Zhang Dejiang's role in the persecution and the CCP crime of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners to passersby, employees of the Chamber of Commerce and reporters.

Zhang was the Secretary of the Guangdong Provincial Committee of the CCP from 2002 to 2007. There had been more than sixty verified deaths of Falun Gong practitioners in Guangdong Province by February 2006. More than thirty death cases happened after Zhang became the Secretary. He was sued by Falun Gong practitioners in Australia for tortures during his visit to Australia in 2005.

Those who entered the Chamber of Commerce didn't see Zhang. A guard told a reporter, “I think he (Zhang) entered by the side door.”
