Germany: Collecting Signatures to End the Persecution of Falun Gong

“Is this real? “ A German lady said to herself with a leaflet in her hand. The leaflet detailed the crimes committed by the CCP who have removed organs from live Falun Gong practitioners. “This is indeed happening in China right now. Actually, the facts are even worse but they cannot be confirmed because of the CCP's information blockade. For example, when the issue about removing organs from live people was exposed, many people including Belgian MPs phoned hospitals in China, in the name of their relatives wanting to have organ transplants asking if it was possible. They had an answer.’ There is no problem do come in two weeks we can find the right donor.’ Someone questioned closely, ‘We were told that we can get organs from Falun Gong practitioners. I am wondering if you have them.’ The reply was. ‘This is the type we have got here.’

Another Falun Gong practitioner nearby said, “Two Canadians have done investigations about this independently and have proved that the CCP has indeed removed organs from live Falun Gong practitioners. We are also here collecting signatures calling for an end of the atrocity of removing organs from living victims and an end of the persecution of Falun Gong by the CCP. “I’ll sign the petition.” The lady not only signed the petition but also asked for more information about this matter.

On August 23rd, there was an exhibition in Freiburg showing how Falun Gong practitioners are being persecuted by the CCP. Falun Gong practitioners were distributing leaflets and collecting signatures.

Ms Voegle signed all petitions. She knows well about the persecution of Falun Gong. “As I have heard about all that has happened, I, of course, support those whose human rights have been infringed on such as Tibetans or Falun Gong practitioners. So I show my support by signing petitions".

It was before this that she had heard about the issue of removing organs from living people. “I believe this. I have told one of my friends, it is so horrifying for me that it makes my eyes brim with tears. It is so horrifying.” Ms Voegle was so sad that she could not continue speaking. After calming down, she went on saying with sobs, “I can’t understand I really can’t understand why such a thing is happening.”

After calming down she said, “Unexpectedly, international societies have shut their eyes to this. No matter what has happened in Afghanistan or Turkey, there is always an international interference, both the USA and Europe have meddled in them. But for this matter (removing organs from live people), nothing has been done and no countries have mentioned it. I think this kind of incompetency is the worst. So I think that I should do something about it. Even if we have ten, a hundred or a thousand people, we should try our best to let people start to pay attention to this matter.”

Moreover, she said that those who the CCP persecutes are not merely Falun Gong practitioners but all Chinese people. “We are unable to accuse Chinese people because they can not obtain sufficient information. But the Chinese government (the CCP), what should I say, they are disgusting. They not only persecute Tibetans, Falun Gong practitioners but also Chinese their own Chinese people. I hope that the Chinese people can lead a peaceful life with each other and hear more information.”

Signing the petition supporting Falun Gong in order to stop the persecution communist party's rule in German history that the CCP’s atrocity exhibited reminded many German people of two big dictatorship periods in history and that many people signed the petition supporting Falun Gong and calling for an end to the persecution.

Mrs. Schmid said, “I think it very important to do what we can do for human rights. We can do this in a liberal country and we should value something good.”

Mike thought: “It is very good to do these in order to stop it (the persecution). As still more people don’t know about this, an information booth is here letting more people know so as to stop this persecution, this is very good. “

After signing the petition, Marian also invited her friends to so. She said, “I was shocked when reading the material. I think this is only what I can do at moment, so I have signed the petition. I can’t imagine that such a thing is happening today.”

After hearing the introduction about what Falun Gong is and why the CCP persecutes them, another German lady asked for a truth clarifying material. She said, “I know well how the CCP controls Chinese people and thoughts because I was born in the year when the Berlin wall was built. Pre East Berlin people who were born in the same year as mine were totally different from me when they were thinking and dealing with something. Because the thoughts of the people under the control of the Communist societies are not the same as the people living in normal societies.” She added, “I feel ashamed about Hitler’s concentration camps in World War II because such a cruel thing happened in my own country. So I hope that the Chinese people can recognise what the CCP has been doing.”

When watching the demonstration of the exercises by Falun Gong practitioners, she felt delighted: “I can feel them sending forth energy and keeping sending out energy.”

“Aren’t you afraid of any secret agents?”

When taking some materials, a German teacher also carefully asked a practitioner about the evidence of removing organs from live people. He knows that Falun Gong was very popular before the persecution. It is Jiang Zemin who started to persecute Falun Gong in 1999. He asked: “I know that some Chinese students are actually the CCP’s secret agents. Some are among the Chinese students I teach. You are here holding activities and can be seen by many Chinese students, aren’t you afraid of them?”

The practitioner told him, “Firstly, we don’t need to be afraid of them because we are here telling the truth. The materials we have distributed are all telling the truth as well. We are not deceiving people. It is the CCP who is afraid because of its lies and atrocities. Secondly, if something does happen to us, we can ask police for help. But in China, if one speaks a word of the truth: ‘Falun Gong is good’, one’s life will be in danger. Can we keep silent in a liberal country and shut our ears to it?” After hearing this, he also nodded agreeing that people couldn’t shut their ears to this.

Before leaving, he took with him some newspapers about Falun Gong, as well as the "Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party" in Chinese and some other material for his Chinese friends. He once again told the practitioner to be careful with his safety.

Worldwide support

On the same day, there were many tourists from Germany and all over the world. On seeing the words “Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance” on clothes of Falun Gong practitioners, an old Japanese lady, with her hand pointing at these words, happily told a practitioner in Japanese. Finding that the practitioner did not understand what she told him, she initiatively said good-bye to him by shaking hands with him. Later on, they told a Falun Gong practitioner who understands Japanese that they knew Falun Gong and asked this practitioner to give their regards to all Falun Gong practitioners.

When taking shelter from the rain, another Chinese lady who can speak English got a leaflet given by a Falun Gong practitioner. Later she told the practitioner that she is American and asked if she could sign the petition supporting Falun Gong.
