1. Ms. Wang Xinyan, 30, a Falun Gong practitioner in Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province, was sentenced to three years of forced labour. She was force fed by the guards after she went on a hunger strike to protest the persecution, and her term was extended without cause. She was also physically abused and beaten because she insisted on doing the exercises. When she shouted, "Falun Gong is good," she was pushed down to the ground and had her mouth covered.

2. Ms. Peng Chunxia, 30, from Shenzhen City, was not released after serving a three-year term in a forced labour camp. She was monitored by four criminals assigned by the guards. The criminal inmates tied her hands and feet and sealed her mouth even through the night. They beat her until she was covered with bruises. This was done whenever she shouted, "Falun Gong is good," or did the exercises. The guards tied her up, saying that she had gone mad and that they were tying her up to protect other prisoners.

3. Ms. Feng Liping, 30, a practitioner in Shenzhen City, was sentenced to one year of forced labour, which was then extended by one month because she protested the persecution. During this time, she was physically abused and subjected to sleep deprivation, which made her very weak. When she fell ill, the guards accused her of pretending to be sick.

4. Ms. Ye Wei, 40, a practitioner in Shenzhen City, was sentenced three years of forced labour, and her term was extended by two months because she protested the persecution. She was also not allowed to take showers or go to the toilet when she needed to for one month because she refused to follow the camp regulations. Her family faced difficulties while they tried to visit her. She was secretly transferred to a brainwashing centre the day she was released from the forced labour camp.

5. Ms. Liu Qiu, 40, a practitioner in Zhuhai City, was sentenced to one and a half years of forced labour, and then her term was extended by one month. She was still detained in the forced labour camp, where she was physically abused and subjected to sleep deprivation. When the criminal who monitored her reported to the guard that Ms. Liu was very weak, the guard said that the hospital would take care of it and not to worry about it.

6. Ms. Wang Xiaoyuan, 50, is a practitioner from the Doumen District in Zhuhai City. She had been in very good health, but when she was released after 19 months in the forced labour camp, she needed to be carried out by three people. It was reported that the guards tortured her brutally, including beating her and forcing her to stand in a fixed position for long periods of time, which led to her being unable to walk or take care of herself. However, the camp authorities still did not release her on medical parole. Instead, two criminals were designated to monitor her.
