Nord Éclair is one of three major newspapers in Northern France Nord-Pas-De-Calais; it published an article entitled "Two Chinese Youths Petitioned in front of The Commercial Centre in the French City of Calais on August 3rd". The article makes the point that people really need to awaken their conscience. Ordinary Chinese people live a life without freedom of speech, the CCP harvests organs from live practitioners. Finally, the article said Falun Gong was an ancient Chinese method of practising Qigong; its guiding principles stress the power of seeking truth, benevolence and forbearance.

People really need to awaken their conscience

The article says that we should not overlook the huge banners displayed opposite The Commercial Centre. Banners displayed about the people being persecuted. Firstly, the two Chinese young people stood in the street, their hands holding a wide range of information.

To enable local people to understand the persecution of Falun Gong, Li and Rui, used their weekend time to arrive in the Northern French City of Calais. Falun Gong, which was popular in mainland China in the 1990s was persecuted by the Chinese Communist regime from July 20th 1999. Immediately, people who practiced Falun Gong began to be persecuted, put in prison and abused.

Chinese people live a life without freedom of expression

The article said that the Chinese people live a life without freedom of speech. In an interview with the Falun Gong practitioners Yang Rui, he used the summer time to get to other cities to expose the truth about the persecution of Falun Gong, Yang Rui said, we have to reveal all truth hidden by the Chinese Communists. CCP brainwashing the people via education through work. People do not see all the dark side. The media is controlled by the Government. They report good news only. Ordinary Chinese people live a life without freedom of expression. They dare not talk about political topics. Even my parents do not understand why I do these things in France. The fact is that the situation of China's persecution is very serious.

Harvesting organs from live Falun Gong practitioners

The article also wrote that David Kilgour validated in his report that the CCP had committed the crime of harvesting live organs from Falun Gong practitioners and selling them. More than 3,000 Falun Gong practitioners have been persecuted to death, this figure will increase. Through their actions, these two young Chinese people would like to appeal to as many people as possible to get real progress: "We want to get everyone to know the truth. People really need to awaken their conscience! Need to know that the CCP have started to remove organs from live practitioners and sell them. "

Canadian human rights lawyer David Matas and former Canadian Secretary of the Asia-Pacific and member of Congress David Kilgour had completed a report aimed at this sort of crime.

One part of the report which described the prisons cremating the bodies is the most representative, the report said: "We can not know of any official explanation as to why they have to destroy all the bodies.

The article said when the world was concerned about the Olympic Games, the human rights situation in China and the truth of which Falun Gong practitioners were persecuted in China, was part of a focus for the Olympic Games. The article stated that the arrival of the Olympic Games played a projection of the results; let people know more about these protest activities and the situation of Falun Gong. The two Chinese youth held the attitude of condemning the Olympic Games. The mission of the Olympics requires the host country to respect human rights. When China knew it would be hosting the Olympic Games, it promised to make human rights efforts. But except for those new buildings, we have not seen any change, "said Yang Rui with regret.

Yang Rui added, "The Chinese Communist regime does not want such a practice method to exist in China. But the decision of our life is not the Government, but our own"

What is Falun Gong?

The final part of the article described what Falun Gong is, Falun Gong is also called Falun Dafa, it is a very ancient Chinese method of practising qigong. This school of practice stressed the power of seeking truth, benevolence, and forbearance.

There are currently more than 70 million people practicing Falun Gong in China. This qigong belongs to the Buddha school, but it’s different from Buddhism, and it pays more attention to the spiritual purification. Falun Gong ensures people to have a healthy body and allows people keep a peaceful mind.
