The following is a partial list of practitioners who have been transferred to Masanjia Forced Labour Camp in Liaoning Province, as well as some persecution facts (updated on July 24th):

Ms. Chen Yan, detained in Division 1, has suffered numerous brutal beatings

Chen Yan, from Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province, persisted in practising Falun Gong exercises at Masanjia Labour Camp and refused to do slave labour. In retaliation she was tortured and chained to her bed for an extended period of time. Since the end of June 2008, on numerous occasions, the vicious guards instigated common criminals to brutally beat Chen Yan. On one occasion, Chen Yan's head was seriously injured and required over 40 stitches. On July 17th and 18th, Chen Yan suffered numerous beatings and her head was injured again and was bleeding.

Some practitioners detained in Division 6:

Zheng Xujun is a practitioner from Beijing with a PhD degree obtained in the UK. In 2001, Zheng Xujun was arrested and detained in Division 7, which is a brainwashing centre of the Beijing Public Security Bureau, and was later sentenced to two and a half years of forced labour. He was sent to Beijing Tuanhe Labour Camp.

Liu Ying is a 26-year-old practitioner from Beishan Park, Jilin City, Jilin Province. Liu Ying was sent to a labour camp for persecution in 2001, and was detained in Beijing Tuanhe Labour Camp at the time. She had been working in Beijing for the last few years before her recent arrest.
Li Wenfeng, over 50 years old, from Inner Mongolia.

Li Lianfang, 42 years old, is a practitioner from Baoding City, Hebei Province. Li Lianfang and another practitioner named Liu Yi, have been on hunger strike for the last three months since they were transferred to Masanjia Labour Camp in mid April 2008, from the Beijing "Dispatching Division." They were both subjected to brutal forced-feeding, and since May, the guards in Masanjia Labour Camp borrowed "death beds1" from the hospital of the labour camp and have tied both of them to these "death beds" for further torture. At this time, both Li Lianfang and Liu Yi are extremely weak and their lives are in great danger.

Note

1. "Death Bed" torture: A practitioner is tied to a bed with his hands handcuffed above his head to the bed rails, and his legs tied with thin nylon ropes. The rope is then tightly wrapped around the practitioner's body and the bed, from his legs to his chest. The rope is wrapped so tightly that the practitioner has difficulty breathing and eventually loses consciousness.
