The Righteous Thoughts and Righteous Actions of an Elderly Practitioner

While distributing truth-clarification materials at the farmers market, an elderly Falun Gong practitioner in her seventies was illegally arrested and taken to the police station. There, the police hit and kicked her, and shocked her with high voltage electric batons. She did not yield to the torture and maintained strong righteous thoughts and behaviour. While being tortured, she still clarified the truth about the persecution and talked about the goodness of Falun Dafa to her persecutors. She also reminded them the principle of "good is rewarded, evil provokes retribution." After the beating, the police sent the elderly practitioner to the notorious Nanjinkuang Brainwashing Center in Zhaoyuan City. At the brainwashing centre, the staff said to her angrily, "What the hell are you doing here?" The practitioner kept her composure and said to the staff clearly, "I am here to distribute flyers. Falun Dafa is good!" Then she took out the two flyers left in her handbag and gave them to the staff saying "These are the only two flyers I have left, please take a look!" The staff turned to the police and said, "Take her back home!" Without saying anything, the police immediately drove the practitioner home.

To help Chinese people withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations, the practitioner goes out every day to clarify the truth no matter the weather. Every day she helps at least 10 people to do the "three withdrawals." Some days, she helps 30-40 people quit the CCP. I am deeply moved by her sincerity to save sentient beings. Her diligence makes me ask myself, "Am I a genuine Dafa disciple?" It also makes me think about whether I follow Teacher's words and do what I should do. This reminds me of what Teacher said, "When you compare them it's clear at a glance how well they cultivate." ("Huge Exposure," Essentials for Further Advancement)
