Ms. Dang Huiying is a Falun Gong practitioner who was a resident of Baoding City, Hebei Province. Ms. Dang Huiying is in her fifties. The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has persecuted her many times during the past eight years. The authorities sentenced her to three years of forced labour in 2004, to be served at the Baoding City Balizhuang Forced Labour Camp. Her prison term expired in May 2007, but the forced labour camp officials declared that Dang Huiying had not cooperated with them [because she refused to renounce Falun Gong] and thus extended her term for three more months and refused to release her.

Dang Huiying went on a protest hunger strike during her stay at the labour camp. Police guard Zhang Guoqiang force-fed her with salt and unknown drugs. Now she has become disabled from the torture and walks with a limp.

When she was detained at Gaoyang Forced Labour Camp, Ms. Dang was made to stand under the hot sun for long periods of time until she passed out from heat stroke.

On January 28, 2001, Dang Huiying shouted, "Falun Dafa is the righteous way" in the police station. The police beat her and then dragged her out and shocked her mouth with electric batons. After this torture, her face became bloody and disfigured. A criminal inmate who saw her was so frightened by her appearance that she ran into the washroom to cry.

Gaoyang Forced Labour Camp started to organise the first "transformation" class. Dang Huiying refused to write the article when she was given a title that defamed Falun Gong. She said that Falun Gong is the righteous way. The guards were furious. That night, they tortured her badly.
