On July 10th, 2007, the Chuanying District Court in Jilin City, Jilin Province, found many Falun Dafa practitioners, who had been arrested, guilty of the false charges that had been brought against them. Among those sentenced were Zhao Yingjie, Liu Yuhe, Wang Liqiu, Zhao Guoxing, and Mou Chunhong. On the same day, the Changyi Court in Jilin City sentenced many practitioners including Guo Yunqing, and one with the surname of Fu, who had been persecuted and had to sit in a wheelchair to participate in the trial.

It is the first time in Jilin Province that two courts put practitioners on trial at the same time. The authorities violated standard legal procedures and only allowed attendance by one person from each family of those on "trial." Wang Liqiu's 75-year-old parents were refused entrance as they only allowed one family member to enter. The old couple had not seen their daughter, who used to take care of them day and night, for six months. The only opportunity they had to see their daughter was denied. They could only stand in front of the court building.

There were more than ten vehicles outside the court building. There were also many plainclothes police, both in and outside the court. It was like they were preparing to be confronted by a strong enemy force.

At about ten o'clock, a man, about 50 years old, came out of the court wearing a blue shirt and white trousers. He talked secretly with five or six plainclothes policemen, two of whom were in grey uniforms. The man pointed to a nearby residential building, and put both of his hands together, meaning they were about to go and arrest someone. So, the policemen walked to the building across from the court and abducted three practitioners. One of them was about 1.5 m. (4 ft. 11 in.) tall and wore a green shirt. Another one, about 40 years old, wore a colourful shirt, was a little overweight, and about 1.6 m. (5 ft. 3 in.) tall. Another one wore a light coloured shirt and stood about 1.5 m tall. A police car left the courthouse and went over to the building so the arrested practitioners could be put into it. It quickly drove off, and not long after, returned without the practitioners in it. No one knows where the practitioners were taken.

A lady in her fifties was digging vegetables nearby and was interrogated for a long time by five or six plain-clothes policemen.

The trial ended at 10:30 a.m. The police cars were loaded, followed by two big minivans, two small minivans, an old green van, and a sedan. With sirens on, they all quickly drove off.
