People pay attention to the information contained in the Nine Commentaries and to the phenomenon of quitting the CCP

Falun Gong practitioners from South Korea holding banners worded, "Free from Chinese Communist tyranny and bring hope for freedom," walked in the front of the procession.

The Divine Land Marching Band participated in the parade

The event was jointly held by the Global Service Center for Quitting the CCP and The Epoch Times newspaper. The Divine Land Marching Band and the Falun Gong waist drum team were also invited to participate. Dr. Daying Li of the on-site Service Center for Quitting the CCP, New York doctor Damon Noto, and Chief Editor John Nania of The Epoch Times gave speeches. Disintegrating the CCP with Our Actions

The host of the event, Dr. Tianxiao Li, said in the opening remarks that 23 million Chinese people have quit the CCP and now stand on the side of righteousness and truth. This indicates that the CCP has reached the end and the historic trials will come soon. People from all circles of New York gathered to support the 23 million brave Chinese people and to call on the vast numbers of Chinese people who are still deceived by the CCP. They urged them to take advantage of this brief opportunity to quit the party, disintegrate the CCP with their actions and welcome a new China without the CCP.

Those Quitting the CCP Will Be History's Heroes

New York doctor Damon Noto from Doctors against Organ Harvesting said that he was pleased to support 23 million Chinese people who have quit the CCP. He said that it reminded him of those righteous people who stood up against Hitler and helped the Jews in World War II when Hitler killed and persecuted the Jewish people. They were history's heroes, though people at that time could say they were mad. Similarly, the 23 million Chinese people who have quit the CCP and its affiliated organisations under the communist tyranny are also heroes.

Doctor Noto exposed the CCP's atrocities of organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners for profit. More and more people, including medical professionals in Europe, North America and Africa are paying attention and investigating the crime. Doctor Noto hoped that people at the rally would tell their relatives and friends about the tragedy occurring under the tyranny of the CCP, so that more people will know about it and help end the atrocity.

A Falun Gong Practitioner Provides Testimony and Calls for Rescue

Falun Gong practitioner Xu Haitao narrated his wife's suffering under the persecution in China. He described forced physical examinations and blood collection in China. His wife, Chen Jin, was imprisoned for three and a half years. During her imprisonment, she was forced to have a physical examination twice, including a chest X-ray and blood test. When she asked the prison guard why the physical examination was held, the guard told her it was a routine examination. Ms. Chen saw that Falun Gong practitioners were taken to secret locations and since then, their whereabouts were not known. In the prison, Falun Gong practitioners were the only ones subjected to physical examinations. Mr. Xu said, "In China, kind-hearted Chinese people do not have freedom of belief. Hundreds of thousands of Falun Gong practitioners are being persecuted by the CCP."

Brooklyn Residents Welcome the Parade

The parade, led by police vehicles, was welcomed by people along the route, which ran from 48th Street and Ninth Avenue to 55th Street, crossed Eighth Avenue to Seventh Avenue and 56th Street, and back to Ninth Avenue. Spectators read the special edition of the Epoch Times about quitting the CCP, and many took photos.

The Divine Land Marching Band also participated in the parade. Lead by large banners worded, "Falun Dafa" and "Truth-Compassion-Tolerance," the band played the music of the song, "Falun Dafa is Good" and "Drums and Trumpets Shake the Ten Directions." The waist drum team performance demonstrated the grace of Chinese traditional culture, while the dragon and lion dancing was welcomed by children.

Parade participants held various banners, including banners worded, "Support 23 million Chinese quitting the CCP," "Heaven is destroying the CCP," "Welcome the New Epoch without the CCP," "Support and rescue Gao Zhisheng, wake up righteousness and conscience," "Live organ harvesting violates heaven's principles," and, "Those who understand the truth will be saved."

Brooklyn resident Raymon Amoscato, of Polish descent, said that though his family has lived in Brooklyn for generations, he knew of the communist party's evilness since Poland and other Eastern European countries were formerly under the control of the communist party. He indicated that he would share the information about supporting Chinese people quitting the CCP with people of his lineage. Brooklyn pastor Gerard Valdivia said that he would pray for Chinese people and hoped that the CCP ends soon and that the Chinese people get their freedom soon.

Mr. Zhu Yeqing emigrated to the US from China when he was five years old. He said that he was pleased to see the parade upon coming to Brooklyn to visit his friend. He took many photos while following the procession. Mr. Li, who emigrated to the US in 1969 from Hong Kong, indicated that he very much enjoyed parades and said that this parade was very well organised.
