Germany: Practitioners Protest at the Chinese Consulate in Munich to Mark the April 25th Appeal

On April 25th, 2007, Falun Gong practitioners from Munich and surrounding areas held an activity at the Chinese Consulate to protest against the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)'s persecution of Falun Gong and mark the 8th anniversary of the April 25th Appeal.

On April 25th, eight years ago, over ten thousand Falun Gong practitioners went to the State Appeal Office in Beijing to make a peaceful appeal. On July 20th of the same year, Jiang Zemin launched a comprehensive suppression of Falun Gong, employed China's media to slander Falun Gong and manipulated the whole state machinary to conduct a prolonged persecution of Falun Gong practitioners.

Outside the Chinese Consulate in Munich, Falun Gong practitioners displayed banners reading “Commemorating the Eternal April 25th Appeal”, “The CCP Harvests Organs from Living Falun Gong Practitioners”, “Supporting the 20 Million Withdrawals from the CCP” to inform people about the CCP’s brutal persecution of Falun Gong and the irresistible tide of withdrawals the CCP.

Knowing the facts about the CCP’s organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners, Ms Graf immediately signed her name to condemn this inhuman conduct. She said that we must do something to urge the German government to speak out. She requested more material and wanted to distribute them to her friends.

Falun Gong practitioner Huiqin Pan and her son participated in the April 25th Appeal in 1999. She recollected that after the morning exercises, she was informed that a several dozen practitioners had been arrested in Tianjin and everyone thought that they should appeal to the central government. At about 10 o’clock in the morning, they arrived but could not pass through beyond a short distance from the tube station, so everybody stood in line at the back of the queue, it is Fuyou Street where is the location of the State Appeal Office. Everybody was standing on the road pavement to wait for the result of the appeal patiently. Practitioners dispersed quietly after the problem was resolved. After July 20th, the CCP fabricated a lie and said that Falun Gong practitioners besieged Zhongnanhai (location of the central government), which is absolute nonsense. The CCP video-recorded the whole process of the appeal, but does not dare to let people see for themselves.

Asked what feelings she had about participating in this protest activity, Ms Pan said that, “I feel that it is too horrible in mainland China, the CCP does not allow good persons to exist. Falun Gong is so righteous, so the CCP is afraid, it is actually afraid of the principle of “Truthfulness Compassion and Tolerance”. If everybody is following the principle of Truthfulness Compassion and Tolerance, then the CCP’s Falseness Evilness and Violence can not hide any more, this is the reason why the CCP is afraid of it and persecutes Falun Gong by all means. When I was in Mainland China, I was homeless for two years in order to escape from being put into a brain-washing class. I escaped to Germany in 2004. I treasure every single opportunity to protest against the persecution and express our voice freely, because it is not possible to do this publicly in China.”
