The Protests are Growing in China – Extract from a Swedish Newspaper

The authorities have struck hard, particularly against Falun Gong, in Changchun in North-East China where the movement recently succeeded in taking over the broadcast on cable-tv. According to Falun Gong’s exile office the police have since arrested 5´000 people and mistreated “dozens” to death.

The police go hard against Falun Gong, intervene against football hooligans but try not to provoke demonstrating labourers. The dissatisfaction expression and the methods to answer them differ.
