Slovakia: Introducing Falun Gong to the People of Dunajska Streda

On January 27th, Falun Gong practitioners visited the city of Dunajska Streda, a small town in south-west Slovakia. Although it was initially snowing heavily, gradually it stopped and passers-by would stop before practitioners performing the exercises to read information posters about the persecution of Falun Gong in China.

People in Dunajska Streda were rather open. One lady with two daughters, as soon as she learned about the persecution of Falun Gong in China, she immediately wanted to sign the petition against the persecution. Her two daughters joined her, too. Another lady read a poster with pictures showing practitioners persecuted to death in China. “They were young people, I even saw there a child,” she said as she signed the petition. At the end she wished practitioners success in their efforts to stop the persecution.

One man liked the exercises, demonstrated by practitioners. He said he would find a few people in Dunajska Streda and maybe they could establish an exercise group there. “The best would be if I could go out every morning and do these exercises,” he said as he was leaving.
